The Helm must rank as one of the best pub/restaurants in Mayo if not all Ireland.
The welcome that you receive from all the staff and in particular the Keogh family
is second to none.
The food is freshly served and of the finest quality,no short cuts at this establishment.

I recently had 3 night stay in the Helm in Westport. It was an extremely enjoyable stay,the apartments were clean,warm and very comfortable. We ate in the restaurant downstairs on two nights,i cannot say anything bad about the food or the service,both were excellent. I will definitely be back in the summer.

on the 13th Aug 10 had invited friends for drinks to this bar, first order of wine by glass was good albeit for 6e on the small side. when next order came to the table for the same request of PinotGrigio it was a completely different wine. We complained it wasnt the same and asked if we could have the...
