Good value for money

The vessel itself is basic but very good value for money, reliable, and staff are professional. Clare Island definitely worth the trip! Overall we would recommend this company.

As a ferry provider, It's a ferry, other reviewers state its grubby etc, but I think it's norm for ferries to Irish island. €15 adult return is reasonable. The best thing is, it's runs, ours departed( mins late as it waited for s local ) & the company answer the phone (if u have queries) unlike Tory Island ferries!!! Can... More

Great way to get away from it all. Take the ferry to Clare Island and you may be lucky to be escorted by the Dolphins!. You may also find that the man who checks your ticket will be tending to his farm a few hours later as you walk around the island!

As part of a group visiting Clare Island, we used the ferry twice. The staff were helpful with all the luggage, and the ferry was a quick and convenient way to get to Clare Island, which is itself a stunning destination.

A small ferry serving the community carrying people and supplies. It is not the height of luxury and there is no duty free, just down to earth there and back. You can hide away inside or feel the fresh air and the spray on your face.

Well done, careful crew, even in the chop, good value and Clare Island. Just make sure you bring rain gear.

A lovely trip to a beautiful island. Clare Island has at last got its act together to look after the visitors to its beautiful island. The hotel/hostel also has good food served throughout the summer season. The crossing can be a bit testing on a rough day, so avoid windy conditions

We had the advantage of travelling to Clare Island on a lovely day. Good start as we got a senior's reduction on the ferry(O'Malleys). Boat was OK for the time it took to get there. Island was great for walking but if you're after attractions forget it.

The ferry/boat travel to Clare was lovely. Pleasant and enjoyable, the crossing was calm and scenic. The island is small and beautiful but requires a lot of walking.
