We visited just to visit the archives in the Glucksman Library and were very impressed with the campus and facilities. All very modern, good great architecture and nicely spread out. We particularly liked the footbridge over the river. Students must find this a great place to study. We hope the academic side is as good as what we saw.

Set in beautiful countryside, including a river running through and some stylish, potentially ward winning buildings in the medical section. Had a reasonable meal in the Pavilion bar which has perfect views of the sports fields. What a great place to watch some form of sporting event. It made me very envious of the local academic population

The University of Limerick is like a second home to me.I am a daily visitor to the university enjoying the walks up the canal on way to the universiity and also the walks around the university itself where I am made most welcome by the staff and the student body as a whole. In recent months I have been able to... The University has everything you need to holiday in Limerick, bus service to the city and SO much to do on campus. The Arena sports facility is perfect on a rainy day and the grounds are great on a dry day. The student accommodation is available to rent outside term time and is very good value for families as they... More

I have seen a lot of University Grounds around Europe but for me University of Limerick has it all. Set on the banks of the Shannon where you have plassey falls, the Living Bridge connecting one campus to the other. If you enjoy a walk, run or cycle then the area around the campus is for you. Take one of the... More

Here in Ireland most everyone will tell you that the hallowed grounds of Trinity College, Dublin would be the best place to visit to get a sense of the revered Irish 3rd level learning environment. But hold on! Have you checked out Limerick University? It was the first higher education institute to become a university since the founding of the... More

Our daughter was at U of L for a summer course which is what brought us to Ireland in the first place. I know she enjoyed it very much, and I enjoyed the visit to the beautiful campus.
