We were on holiday while training for a triathlon and we found the facilities at UL Sport to be great. 50m pool for lane swimming and good running areas. You can use the pay as you go system or one of the memberships depending on how long you will be in town.

An outstanding campus. One of the best in Ireland. State of the art facilities for today's students. Anyone who studies at the University Of Limerick is very lucky!

Fab landscape and beautiful walks through the campus and along the river, this is a great place to spend an afternoon and absorb the atmosphere. Warning, free parking is very limited so if visiting term time, unlikely you will get spaces as many students drive to college, so save yourself the hassle of driving around looking, and just park up... Well worth a visit if even just to walk the grounds and surrounding areas. There is a lovely walk down by the river and its spectacular on a sunny day. The University itself is enormous and sprawling and you can walk for miles just looking at the scenery and the buildings.

Don't leave the city to visit the grounds unless you would like to visit the living bridge or Munster Rugby training grounds at the University arena. It is a great campus for prospective students but not tourists.

The path along the river provides a wonderful view and quiet reflection area. The campus itself is quite impressive with the variety of architecture and facilities. A definite highlight is the sports facility and the university has a plethora of clubs and activities to offer. Plenty of on campus events and activities to engage students. An excellent place to visit... More
