Beautiful Campus

Brought our daughter here for an exchange. Very Impressed with the city and the grounds. Residence area seems nice too, lots of cafes on campus, large sports facility

A great place to to take a walk and have a bite to eat. The University is situated on the river Shannon at Plassey. There are beautiful walks with wonderful views of the river and all that nature has to offer on Irelands longest river. And if your hungry there are several restaurants and cafés spread out across the campus.

I attended college here for four years and it's a wonderful place to spend your college years. The University is in it's own little bubble away from Limerick City while at the same time, having the luxury of just being a minutes drive/bus-ride away from the city centre. The student accommodation offered is plenty and there are budgets to suit... More

Love bringing my dog out all year round and exploring the great trail walks around the college campus. There are also a large selection of great restaurants on the grounds if you feel the need for lunch.

Living bridge is lovely lit up at night or looking out at the beautiful scenery during the day. Plenty of coffee shops and a few bars also.

Amazing campus grounds that make UL a wonderful place to study at. Particularly beautiful in autumn when all the trees are losing their leaves. Worth a visit even if you're not studying here

Allihies is a tiny village on a mind-boggling beautiful coastal road along the northern edge of the Beara Peninsula - Ireland the way it used to be before becoming heavily touristed. Hike the Beara Way, listen to traditional music, and visit the many craft shops - also delicious restaurants in Allihies and nearby.

I visit Limerick at least once every year and until this year I never thought of visiting the university campus because I expected nothing other than another dull Irish university campus. When I arrived at the campus by bus I was surprised by the size of the place, it is huge and there is a lot to see and do.... More
