We visited on St. Stephens Day our 2nd time visit and yet again we had a great day, brilliant atmosphere, very friendly and helpful staff, well organised. We had the buffet lunch and the food was amazing, so much so that I am going to try and copy a recipe. ~I can't recommend this day highly enough. Well done again... More

Great food, beer, gambling etc. Well worth a visit here, though make sure you set a budget, too easy to spend (lose) money here!

Like so many racecourses this one has yet to find a way to attract the large crowds needed to make it a memorable venue. The food is vastly overpriced for the quality. Supermacs does well as a result. A four day festival is simply too much for the numbers attending.

If you are near Limerick on a Sunday afternoon consider going to the track. It is fun to watch the horses run. The atmosphere is fun to experience. Horse racing in Ireland is a community event. It not as commercialized as in the US. You will find horse racing all over Ireland in small venues. You should consider experiencing the... More

As an owner we had free racing. It was a wonderful day, fab conditions, spotless grounds and the race track was amazing. Great food hall also.

We have had many enjoyable days at Limerick Races. The parking is very good, also the food is good and excellent value. The only complaints we have are as follows: Races should start earlier to facilitate dairy farmers who travel many miles and have to get home for milking. All horses should enter the parade ring together. Some only come... More

Hi Catherine C, Thank you for writing a review of Limerick racecourse and for your feedback. We would love to facilitate dairy farmers with earlier race times but unfortunately Limerick Racecourse has no control over the race times with are dictated by the TV schedule. With regards to horses entering the parade ring at different times, this is something we... More

If you're a fine-weather racegoer, you could hardly do better than Limerick racecourse. Even before the horses and the fashion appear, the landscape and the layout are impressive. The view from the stands is really comprehensive, there is nowhere on the track that is not visible. Plenty of room for parking, for visitors, for looking around, and there is a... More
