We started doing the pub to pub trail, but were not properly prepared (didn't bring any "wellies") so we switched to the Canon Sheehan walk loop. Nice, mostly shaded path. Easy to follow. We didn't do the whole loop so there wasn't much elevation change, other than the first 200 yards from the car park to the stream.

No down points for the trails in Ballyhoura country. There is a great variety of long, short, steep and flat walks to suit all types of fitness. Nice cheap and worthwhile day out. Sometimes it's easy to forget how beautiful Ireland is and easy to be reminded on the trails.

walked the trails for a couple of hours.Lots of choices in trails, though all were steep in spots.limited parking in the area. When we went there were lots of flowers and trees in bloom and some spectacular views.Great way to work off a few calories from the giant Irish breakfasts

Did the mountain biking. great fun but if your not into cycling dont go beyond the third track. think its the white track. thought I would never see the end of the red track. Tough going up hill but worth it for the thrill of going down

We go to Ballhoura fairly regulary, it is about 40 minute drive from Limerick it is well worth the drive to walk in this wide open space it also caters for bikers. All you need is on site and the scenery is out of this world.

This really is a jewel of a attraction. The scenery is fantastic and the facilities, equipment hire and general level of service from the staff is top notch. Something for everyone here if you like the outdoors. Can't recommend it enough.
