When we went to Langton's, the pub was full so we were escorted further inside to the hotel restaurant, Langton Room, which offers the same menu. The pasta of the day was excellent and delicious. The Irish stew was superior to the usual pub grub. The service was attentive in spite of the packed seating, and our food arrived more... More

This hotel is perfectly located in the centre of Kilkenny city, only a few minutes walk from McDonagh Junction shopping centre, and in the other direction, the main shopping thoroughfare. Langtons have it sewn up - excellent wedding destination, lovely pub grub and atmosphere, and also Kilkenny's main nightclub! We visited for an early evening meal in August before a... More

Went to Langton's for food and cocktails while staying in Kilkenny over Easter 2014. The food was really tasty and the staff were excellent. We requested to order a cocktail which wasn't on the cocktail menu and the staff were more than happy to make it for us! Will definitely visit again!

Just spent the weekend here. Sean Reed and the entire staff there could not do enough for my family and all the other quests who stayed there for our sons wedding. The rooms are large and very comfortable while the quality of the food is second to none and I look forward to spending time there again in the near... More

We arrived in the well known pub expecting wonderful bthings. The staff were rude, at one point a bar man moved me a few feet across the bar to serve me an order of drinks as the other side was " for food" maybe if a sign was erected to state that people wouldn't make the mistake. The pint of... More

Myself and my girlfriend had a great time here. Good drinks and a really nice atmosphere. The pub is also really well decorated.

I was part of a hen weekend travelling to Kilkenny, why did we chose this destination? Apparently the best club in the South of Ireland is Langdon's... So, I booked a table/area for my group at the 'famous' Langdon's club in Kilkenny. When we arrived we discovered that the area they had booked for us turned into a smoking area... More

Had dinner in the bar. One starter, two mains, one dessert and two glasses of house wine €59. Not good value. Had cod, chips and mushy peas for €17.50, who are they codding! Over rated. Better pLaces around town. Won't be in hurry back.

Arrived here on a stag and after finding a few places hit and miss we finally found somewhere we were all comfortable. This place is BIG. Clean and all the staff i met were friendly and talkative especially the guy who was working the outside bar with glasses. Cant think of his name I'm sorry to say.

Right, lunch in the afternoon took an awful long time because we couldn't get any service and one of the party's seats was broken. In the evening, we entered the nite club at 1.50 am and paid €5 each and €2 for the cloak room. However, the nite club finished at 2am and we were not informed of this before... More
