Great pub and gets better and better. New bars and restaurants and hotel in adjoining buildings. Keeps expanding and worth a wander round.

As a local Kilkenny Man who promotes both the city and hurling on an international scale I am horrified by your head doorman's racism against international visitors to our city tonight. My friend Emile Bod who is an avid Kilkenny Hurling supporter who fly's to Ireland for 5-6 games a year and who spent close to €1000 to come to... More

Stayed with my husband mid-week. Rooms were nice, clean and spacious, a couple of bulbs blown (not a major issue at all). Bar was lovely good atmosphere. Food was lovely and good value for money. Staff are really friendly and great at their jobs. worth a visit would go back.

2 adults and 2 kids ate here for lunch last week. We sat in the bar which was lovely. The menu was varied and offered the usual kid's food or a choice of a half sized adult's portion, which is always appreciated. Our waiter was a little slow and got part of the order wrong - however he sorted it... More

Very attentive waiting crew. They still use antiquated paper receipting systems. We had high tea for only €4 each, which was for nought! Beautiful function room behind the front bar. Parking is almost non-existent unless you're lucky enough to nab a space in the small (night time) pay and display taxi rank. If in Kilkenny, it's worth a visit.

This hotel is perfectly located in the centre of Kilkenny city, only a few minutes walk from McDonagh Junction shopping centre, and in the other direction, the main shopping thoroughfare. Langtons have it sewn up - excellent wedding destination, lovely pub grub and atmosphere, and also Kilkenny's main nightclub! We visited for an early evening meal in August before a... More

Went to Langton's for food and cocktails while staying in Kilkenny over Easter 2014. The food was really tasty and the staff were excellent. We requested to order a cocktail which wasn't on the cocktail menu and the staff were more than happy to make it for us! Will definitely visit again!

We arrived in the well known pub expecting wonderful bthings. The staff were rude, at one point a bar man moved me a few feet across the bar to serve me an order of drinks as the other side was " for food" maybe if a sign was erected to state that people wouldn't make the mistake. The pint of... More
