A bit of a walk but a very beautiful one. Came upon this by accident but what great views and even a black cat to go with the grave yard that surrounds the church!

What a fantastic find. I was fortunate enough to attend the Kilkenny Choir perform 'Sacred music from Paris' supported by the Kilkenny youth choir. A polished professional performance given by all, testament to the talents of founder and conductor Phil Edmondson. If you see a concert advertised make sure you book it. I can't recommend them enough. .

As with a lot of Anglican churches, we went by to visit this church and found it to be locked up. Sadly this is common among Anglican churches in a lot of places we visit..

A definite must on your visit to Kilkenny. This church yard has lots of easily read to stones that go back forever. Just don't visit too late in the afternoon as they lock the grounds by 6:00 and on a dark and stormy evening it can be exciting..

Looks more historic that it really is. Build in the 1850's to 1870's, compared to other churches in use in the city (St Canices Cathedral, The Black Abbey) it is a relative 'newby', but it is an impressive building none the less. Undergoing renovation at present, so parts are closed, but the 'crypt' is open to the public for the... More

Superb architecture, peaceful and reflective, situated behind Langton house hotel. Plenty of parking ( free) at the front of the hotel.
