And our guide from Dublin (sorry, I forgot her name !!!,) was interested and very interesting. The exhibition is very well organized with the right mix of digital media, guide explaination and a taste of the beer ! You will learn when and how the beer was born, the history of their owners behind it during the Henry VIII era,... More

I had a personal tour for this brewery just because I was the only one at that particular time. Since I'm not much of a beer drinker, I really enjoyed the history of place, being the oldest brewery in Ireland and how the beer was made. I had the tour director pronounce Smithwick three times to make sure I heard... More

A great story to inspire you to go after your wildest dreams. Also, a very modern and fresh way of interactive storytelling (I don't want to ruin it, if you there- do not miss!). A story of an ambitious young man that started his own business out of nothing, and created an empire! Also the guide was very good, and... More

Our tour was with family members and happened to be the day after Kilkenny won the all-Ireland hurling championship so it was a great time to be there. My brother and I are huge Smithwick's 'fans' and had also taken the (self-guided) Guinness tour. All of us preferred the less-commercial, scaled down Smithwick's tour much more. Yes, there's some high... More

My boyfriend and I are beer lovers, so we visited the Smithwick's Experience the day after the Guinness Storehouse tour. When we got there, especially after the extremely sophisticated Guinness tour, we were a bit nervous. No one was there except the lovely reception lady, and usually no one being there is a sign of something not so good. We... More

We got the last four of the day, 3 of us. Sheila was great. She added a lot of extra information since it was just the 3 of us. The pint at the end was awesome!! Very informative!! TAD

We did the Smithwick tour and as it happened, had a lovely guide all to ourselves. The tour is very informative and the guide was quite knowledgeable about all things Smithwick. She was quite patient with our questions and humorous to boot. The tasting room at the end of the tour is lovely and a pint of Smithwicks is right... More
