Had a great tour this afternoon with Patrick as the guide. Great interactive guide. The tour itself was fantastic, much better than anything I've seen in the States. Loved the holographics involved in the tour and the history of the brewery.

Went to see this, this morning for my husband, even though I don't like beer! Absolutely great, really worth a visit. Interesting history, great guide and my husband got a pint of beer at the end of it! What could be better he says!

It once was the brewery, and that is the location, but the tour is just a presentation of how they brew. Disappointing to a beer connoisseur like myself. The admission fee is cheaper than Guinness at 12 Euro (includes a “free” pint at the end of the tour), but you can get a pint in a pub for 5 Euro.... More

We went here, the day after doing the Guinness tour in Dublin, and were immediately more impressed with Smithwicks. A nice relaxed chat as a welcome, our tour guide Simon was knowledgeable and interesting to listen to, clearly knew his stuff and was lovely to hear he was from just across the river, he obviously has a love for this... Visited at the end of August and was delighted with the tour. It is on the old site which is beautifully preserved and interesting layed out. A compact, informative tour with great use of modern day technology, like the 'art work' and the Monk hologram. At the end of the tour you can look forward to a pint of the... More

We did this tour and was surprised how modern and innovative it was. We had Caoimhe the tour guide. She really speaks so well and was very well rehearsed in her talks. Learned a lot about Smithwicks and enjoyed a lovely pint at the end. Pros - whole new experience Cons - wait for pint at the end... only cause... More

I have done this tour with mixed feelings, but I have to say that it was brilliant, I know it was smaller than the Guinness Storehouse tour but it was more interactive and I really enjoyed it. The tour guide was excellent as well. I will definitely recommend this tour to anyone.

We went on tour month ago and I'm still impressed. They have hologram of monk talking to you and actual talking "pictures" of Smithwick's family members, each telling their own story. It is really groundbreaking, at the end they have some yummy nibbles and of course pint of refreshing Smithwichks. Our guise Simon was absolutely brilliant. He made the whole... More

This newly made tour is top notch. It mixes a personal guided tour with a very slick multi media picture/hologram experience. You are given the history of the site and the family as well as the brewing process. Brewing no longer takes place at the site however it is still highly interesting. It is €12 for the tour including a... More

Really enjoyed this tour; learning about the brewing process and the history of the Smithwick's family. All of the staff are knowledgable and friendly. The multimedia tour through history is very well done, all in all a great experience and the excellent pint of beer at the end!
