Went here with friends and their children and there was an activity park there with a rope slide , swings , climbing frames . There are also activities for older children which are supervised as there is a canopy in the trees with high ropes . Great toilet facilities and a lovely coffee shop. Craft places there too, I will... More

Great spot for fun activites for both young and old - We only done the tree top walk, leap of faith and climbing wall but really enjoyed. Will be back again to explore more. Friendly people in the small craft shops Plenty of food and drinks available for that needed energy boost. Great fun day out :)

Enjoyed, what was but didn't seem a long day here. Plenty to do great for picnics, walks fishing boating and the adventure park. Parking is a bit manic but the service and the people make up for it. Well worth a visit.

I had a great day out with my little man Tadhg. We started off in the playground and then we went Orienteering €3 + €2 deposit which we got back when we returned the map. Tadhg wasn't mad about the idea till he found the first check point on his bike then after that he was happy out to find... More

A very interesting presentation of the geology of coal. The mining and the running of the mines with videos of miners and relations of those killed telling their stories of this most dangerous and health hazard job.

When we did the experience it was only my wife and I the young girl started it off for US and told us how to proceed, this experience... More

I had a Kilkenny craft trail brochure I had downloaded online and noticed several artisans were at this location so we headed here to check it out. They need to change the name of this place because it screams cheesy amusement park or something. I would have never come near it if it wasn't for the artists studios here. Without... More

Basically its a hilly park/woodland. There are 2 fishing lakes (1 fly & 1 bait), with rainbow trout. Way over priced for the quantity of the fish You can keep (and sometimes the lack of catching). There is a small play are for kids right at the entrance and a bbq/picnic area beside the river. In the car park is... More

The setting is very relaxing and its in a wooded area with a lovely river and bridge alongside, some picnic benches, green areas to have a nice relaxing bite to eat. The park is good if you have children that are adventurous and love the thrill of heights, I think its recommended for 7+ but there is a small playground... More
