We visited the park while on a family holiday near Kilkenny. We brought 2 small children (3 and 5), and for them this place was amazing. We actually visited twice over the course of the week we were here. The first time we met friends with a small boy of 6. all three children enjoyed the walk through the forest... More

We visited here on a pleasant Nov Sunday. It only costs a few euro to park and for that we had a lovely walk and picnic near the lakes and a play in the playground. We didn't try the activities but will return to do so. The cafe was very nice too and there was plenty of room for our... More

The park itself is beautiful, with walking trails, a lake with peddle boats & canoes, a river for fishing and a kids adventure playground not to mention the sky walk and other climbing activities for the... I live literally down the road from this pretty little park and find it lovely to go and sit in on my break at work. The Discovery park really is the highlight of Castecomer. A family run business that has grown over the past few years with an increase of attractions for young and old. The park is very well... More
