My first and most memorable golf round on a genuine links course. Accompanied by the smartest caddie it seemed like playing with the head in the clouds. All holes are oceanside, yet the variation of the lay-out is impressive. Some holes are hilly, but always inviting for a gentle but sportive stroll. Highly commended

Not just the course itself but the views, Both a golfer and non-golfer enjoyed this course. Underrated says the 6 Handicap player.

I “played” this famous golf course on 18th May 2015. The winds were 35mph, with often torrential rain and TWO HAILSTORMS!! Despite the weather, I felt that having grown up in Scotland and accustomed to links golf, I would find it only slightly easier than trying not to laugh at David Feherty over a 3-hour lunch. Think again! (And that... More

Arnold did not design this course for a double digit handicap golfer. Too many times when I stood over my tee shot or on the fairway and said "are you kidding me". Great looking track but my least favorite of the six we played.

Maybe not as nice as some of the legendary Irish links, but the people were very friendly, and the starter got us out ahead of the tourists, 1hour 40min before our scheduled time and we made it around in 3 hours on a windy day. Some really hard holes, but a great test of shot making, and it has nice... More

One of the best courses I have ever played. You get a good score the front 9 and then it falls apart the back 9. Not the longest course but a very testing one. Now they have brought in a rule no hats or phones in the clubhouse bar which a taught was a bit over the top. But I... More

Tralee formed part of an itinerary of SW Ireland's best courses and we went in the expectation that this would be 4th or 5th. How wrong we were. One of the very best courses I have ever played - the staff couldn't have been more helpful and the views were truly amazing. As one reviewer states the front 9 is... More

Played with my husband as a two ball. The course is very beautiful with some breath taking holes. Unfortunately, the experience for us was ruined by a whole bunch of 4 ball groups in front of us, who didnt seem to have a clue about golf or etiquette! Seemed like some incredibly poor players who were playig extremely slow. The... More

Tralee links course is one of the most dramatic links courses I've played, and it's been quite a number. Many holes go along the dramatic coastline with its cliffs and sandy beaches. Beathtaking views guaranteed. The course is great to play. Not too narrow and even if you happen have a misshot every once in a while there's still a... More

Incredible golf course. The front nine is good (not great), but the back nine might be the best links layout I have ever played. Worth traveling to go play. Grab a caddie and walk.
