The town park is a vital part of Tralee and thankfully this year has seen some major overhauls to the entrance. It is a beautiful park and offers a green oasis in the centre of town. At the recent Feile na Blath it showed itself off as flowers were in bloom and the fountain looked well. Tourists flock here to... More

Tucked in the corner of Tralee, near the Kerry County Museum, these gardens are glorious. It's also the tribute to the Rose of Tralee competition and legend, with a lovely sculpture in the middle of the park. Worth a few minutes stop on your tour.

This is a lovely park right in the centre of Tralee. Very interesting sculptures and the Rose of Tralee memorial is fascinating to read. It must be gorgeous in summer when the roses are all in bloom and the perfume.

A lovely park in the town centre. The Rose garden (sadly we were too early in the year to see the roses) surrounding the statue depicting a couple holding a rose. Glass panels tell the history of the "rose of Tralee " competition and the names of the finalists and winner for each year. There is also a playground for... More

Lovely on the day I visited and I also saw the Siamsa Tire concert hall and bought 2 CD's of their traditional Irish music.
