We went for a look around the church in the evening to light a few candles. It is a beautiful church and it was lovely that it was open for a look around.

St John's is a beautiful church right in the middle of Tralee town. Well worth a visit ..... who knows, you may even catch a wedding there.

I may be ever so slightly biased but I got married in this wonderful church. As soon as I stepped into the church on my previous visit 2 years before I knew this is where I wanted to be wed. The priests are excellent and always available to talk to. A beautful church and my wife and I were very... More

A great piece of Victorian architecture with some nice stained glass. A peaceful corner away from the bustling town centre.

Stumbled across church while walking thru lovely Rose Gardens in park. One of nicer churches on trip. Due to service in progress, couldn't get good view of inside. Will revisit if we return.

This year we stayed at The Grand Hotel on Denny Street and on our first evening in town we decided to have dinner at the Sunshine Palace a very short stroll from our hotel and guess what? There was this beautiful Church right next door to the restaurant. We were fortunate to have the opportunity to attend Church here twice... More

I've been here since I was a child on holidays, and it has always been a majestic church. I recommend a visit to walk around

Brought the kids to mass here last month, they wanted to come back and explore the church. Its tastefully stripped back to the stonework and the woodwork is amazing. Its worth a visit just for the peace and tranquility

Its amazing that some of the worlds gems are so close to you and you still do not see them. Well I will use that as my excuse anyway for this Tralee native not reviewing this attraction already. First it is a 'Gem' wel worth a visit. pick up one of the explanatory pamphlets to explain the rich heritage and... More

We went to Christmas Mass here and the priest was wonderful to note that he knew we all had dinner going and family over so he would keep it short and sweet. Very considerate, as Catholic Mass can go anywhere from 45 minutes to an hour and half. It's a beautiful church, always something nice to look at while in... More
