Visited twice recently once for our 8 year old's birthday party and once to "recce". The children went on the low ropes course. it is reasonably challenging for 8 year olds but our 4 1/2 year managed it too - though a bit of a stretch at times for him. The safety equipment is good - the children are well... More

OK, if you can picture two people in their late 50's doing this, you can picture us. It was a fun experience and I'm sure we took longer than others, but I'm proud of us for doing this! The staff was helpful and stayed nearby in case they were needed. I "high'ly recommend it - even for grown ups!

Upon first entry to the high ropes we were excited to take our group on the ropes. We were 10min early and we were told to go out into the rain and wait until 11am which was upsetting as we had a large group of young people and there were chairs indoors where we could have waited. At 11am we... More

This is a very well laid out course through the trees on the grounds of what is now a large youth hostel. It is quite extensive adn takes over an hour to complete. Our kids had a great time. The age restrictions are due to the height os some of the ropes and the connection points for the safety harness,... More

Visited with 3 children. Oldest aged 16 had previously completed a similar course in Delphi - she found the movement of the safety buckle at each junction quite tedious & felt it slowed up the course a lot. The instructors did explain that this is a safer system though. The 14 year old loved it from start to finish. My... More

Challenging and enjoyable course suitable for about age 11 + (height dependent and they are very strict about this for safety reasons). The natural setting and the course built into old trees is impressive. As a family we've done other similar ropes courses but this one is one of the best. My son (9) was disappointed he was too short... More

We had a brilliant afternoon at the high ropes. I would highly recommend it for young and old. The staff were excellent, and everyone was well suited out, with harness, helmet etc and we got a safety briefing on how the ropes worked etc. Safety is paramount here. Staff were plentiful on the ground and always willing to help if... More

Getting out with teens and so something which attracts and keep their attention is not easy nowadays. But the High Rope Course was an astonishing experience for young and old. A big point: Security well done from the "GROUND TEAM" we all got harness, helmet and gloves. An introduction into how the rope system and the zip wire work provided... More

It was sooooo worth the money. we had so much fun. definitely one of the highlights of our tour in Ireland. the older kids had a blast and the younger kids course was a great challenge for their age too. you'll need at least two adults with you, if you have kids of different ages. (although the older kids, if... More

My daughter and I found ourselves in Killarney on an 8 day small guided tour of Ireland (which turned out to be just the 2 of us and the driver). We stayed at the Earls Court House Hotel a short walking distance from town center. We found ourselves with an afternoon free after seeing the Lakes of Killarney via the... More
