When we planned a family trip to Ireland and more specific a trip around Dingle, I searched in Tripadvisor for some things I shouldn't missed - that's how I found the Killarney Falconry. My father loves birds and knows a lot about singing birds so I thought this would be the perfect present for him. I planned the whole meeting... More

I went on a wonderful vacation to Ireland last September with my girlfriend and we had the time of our lives. One of the most unexpected highlights was a walk with Texas the Harris Hawk and Geoffrey the human. The amount of interaction with the gorgeous and well cared for raptor was unbelievable. I especially enjoyed the fount of information... More

This review is long overdue. My family and I went on a walk with Killarney Falconry guide, Geoffrey, during a visit in July. As many others have commented, it was the highlight of our trip. The experience was fascinating and Geoffrey was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. He put everyone at ease and allowed us to feed and interact with Hunter... More

My husband and I love raptors and looked forward to our hawk walk more than anything else on our fall trip to Ireland. We weren't disappointed. We had a wonderful stroll on a wooded path, learning about raptors of all types while having a Harris hawk land on our gloved hands. We were able to pet a 4 year old... More

I really had little interest in this 'attraction', but my travel partners all wanted to do it. What a great experience. The Guide, Geoffrey, is very passionate about his birds and full of knowledge and experience in falconry. You'll learn a lot, walk a bit, enjoy the beautiful countryside and watch a bird in it's natural habitat follow you like... More

Me and my partner decided to do this one morning during our stay. I can honestly say it was the highlight of our trip and well worth the money. The guide was so friendly and had so much knowledge. Will definitely be doing this again.

If you have any love - or even an interest - in birds of prey, this is something you should not miss. Geoffrey's knowledge of his birds and their habitat is surpassed only by his genuine love for these amazing creatures. To have a hawk land on your gloved hand (or head, in our case), or to pet a juvenile... More

We were given info from Lake Hotel to try this company...Geoffrey came to meet us when we got lost on the way there!! Special treatment! What was supposed to be a one hour adventure turned into almost two when we discovered the owls in his truck when we were finished...He was gracious and after teaching us all about Falconry and... Once and a lifetime experience. Geoffrey led a friend and I on walk with his falcon, Hunter. You cannot experience this anywhere else. Something memorable that Geoffrey said was that "Dogs see us as masters, cats see us as servants, and falcons see us as partners" . We loved every minute of this walk and absolutely recommend it.
