We played the Killeen course which was home to the Irish Open. It's a lovely, challenging but fsir course. We walked the course and it was well marked. The staff were lovely and helpful when deciding whether to walk or ride. The pub served cold beer and the seafood chowder was excellent.

Played both Killeen and Mahony's. Both of the courses feature amazing views over the bay and the hills and forests around Killarney. Just breathtaking. Both courses are rather short and most of the fairways are wide open and allow for misshots without losing balls. Parkland style. Not very challenging. But still very enjoyable. Prices are ok but considering that you... More

We came here for lunch today and I have to say it was very nice. The views of the golf course & surrounding areas were stunning! We ordered lunch which was good value for money and very tasty, I ordered the chicken strips & chips, my mum ordered chowder soup which I would recommend! I would definatley return here for... More

My husband and son played Killeen golf course in early January. Other course was closed due to weather and this one should have been too. The course was waterlogged, the tee boxes were moved so far forward it was difficult to judge distance. People appeared from nowhere searching for balls, including in the lakes. No signs to warn visiting golfers... More

Although Killarney seems to be bustling with tourists the golf club appears to be lesser known as an eating venue. One does not have to be a member to gain admission to the beautifully appointed lounge area. For a light lunch we chose a seafood chowder. It was excellent. It arrived piping hot, full of fish and delightfully creamy. It... More

This is the second course in Ireland that my husband and brother-in-law played. The greens were in excellent shape and the course was beautiful. The surroundings were spectacular. One of the pros, I think his name was Cormac, was especially pleasant. It's amazing how quickly the weather changes! Would definitely play this course again when I return.

We stayed in Killarney for a few days and I played nine holes on this beautiful course. It was raining gently but that just added to the fun as I negotiated the course with my rented pullcart and clubs. I rented the clubs at a golf store in Killarney and paid $25 for a nice set. The course was in... More

We came to play this golf course as it had been recommended to us by friends. The clubhouse and restaurant were really lovely and we had a good lunch before our game. The course is certainly one of the best laid and challenging that we played in this part of Ireland. The views across the lake with the mountains in... More

My Husband and I added this course to our trip. Glad we did. Not a Links course, but still worth it. Easier to play, especially on the front nine.

James absolutely made our round of golf last week. We were not on a golf trip but wanted to play one day so we stopped in at the Killarney Golf Club shop next to the sweater store in the town centre and Jonathan helped us book a tee time. Expensive but worth the experience of golfing in Ireland and the... More
