James absolutely made our round of golf last week. We were not on a golf trip but wanted to play one day so we stopped in at the Killarney Golf Club shop next to the sweater store in the town centre and Jonathan helped us book a tee time. Expensive but worth the experience of golfing in Ireland and the... More

Very underrated parkland courses - both. We have played these many times as visitors over the years and the whole place is very beautiful with views over the Lake from both courses. The clubhouse bar and restaurant look over the 18th hole at Kileen, and you can watch how to, and how not to, do it. The trouble is everyone... More

Killarney Golf Club is open to non-members and non golfers. The bar area has fantastic views over the lake. The drinks and food are very resonably priced. This is very worth a visit.

Pencil tined in July? yet still charged full amount? The course is highly over rated and has only its views and the fact it hosted Irish opens going for it, the course ranger was ignorant and the place was in rag order in general. Came down to play the course before the Tralee pro-am but will not darken the doors... More

Beautiful parkland courses with serious views and golf situations Killeen long big course Irish Open material but an absolute delight to play Mahony's Point is to my preference with every hole playable with thought designed to be a great piece of course management Greens true and interestingly layered and rolling With so many interesting holes a feeling of not wanting... I was fortunate to play this course while we were in the area, it is visually stunning and a real test of your skills. Rental clubs, loaner pair of golf shoes and a purchased rain suit; ready to meet my caddy: Ewan. We had a great day, the fairways were plush, the greens were slow and receptive and the scenery... Having recently played in o mahony's point course we thought that it was a bit disorganized.we found it a bit of a hassle with bad directions for tee of areas.map on back of score card very small print.the greens in good condition.a few elevated with interesting "rolls"in Them.found it all a bit unkempt.

We had a really nice round of golf here. We were pretty spoiled after playing Old Head Kinsake and Balleybunion, but this course is beautiful, and it held its own. Will definitely return. The members were all very charming and polite, they seem to be great folks.

This was the last course our group of about 30 played during our recent visit to Killarney and, unfortunately, the weather was most unkind to us on that day. We went through about five of the fiercest squalls I’ve ever experienced, rendering it almost impossible to keep dry in even the best rain gear and blowing quite a few umbrellas... More

Played in Mahony's Point recently, not a good day by any means. While I would allow for poor greens this time of year, these were terrible and so were T boxes and generally playing in muck, they have some nerve charging those green fees. That was not the worst part! when we finished (16 of us) @ 16:30 no food... More
