We viewed the waterfall as part of a trip in one of the jaunting cars. The trip cost us €10 and we got to see several of the lakes nearby as well as scenery and the waterfall but the waterfall can also be reached on foot. The view is breathtaking and is set in the forest in the national park... More

Very BEAUTIFUL place! You can feel the magic all around you. From the very green moss covered forest floor to the odd shaped trees its just a short uphill hike to the waterfall and well worth the time !

Quick walk from the main road as we began the Ring of Kerry drive. Lots of parking and then a 5 - 10 minute walk to view the waterfall.

This was a nice end to our Ring of Kerry drive. Very peaceful in the late afternoon as the shadows start to fall. My husband decided to hike to the top of the waterfall - I skipped because I was a little tired. He said that it wasnt all that exciting, so dont feel compelled to hike up there if... More

We went here with my husband. Although in January , cold and wet, we had a nice little hike up the stone stairs and back. The waterfall was amazing, everything around it was green with mos , the river , the stones, the trees , simply amazing. We did some really nice pictures to keep for us. Parking was easy... More

It was a rainy cold day in May when we visited but still so worth the short hike out to the waterfall. You walk thru a green jungle, so enchanting. There were not many people at the falls that day so it was very magical. However I could see losing some of its appeal if you had to share with... More

You can really put your fitness to the test here. Did the walk from muckross to dinis cottage, carried on for another ten mins approx till we came onto main road. We were going to do blue route back until a lady asked were we ok while we were looking at sign. After talking to her curiosity got the better of... More

Beautiful spot to visit, very accessible from the parking spot, just a 200m walk. Possibly should have safety warning signs to those who think they can walk out onto the very slippery rocks!

No words can really describe how magical this place really is. This is a must see if you visit this part of the world. The more rain the better and more powerful the flow of the waterfall. 10/10 for the camera but just like all pictures its better to be there and feel the pulse of the waterfall and hear... More
