Lovely photos can be taken, fresh scenery and clean water, a beautiful rainforest . We caught a horse and carriage from the house to the waterfall, the driver stopped for us to take photos on the way. Pick a sunny day as it can be wet underfoot and an easy walk from the carriage stop to the waterfall.

Visited this amazing example of nature at its best. Beautiful scenery surrounding this place and a most magical trail leading up to it. We walked to the very top and were rewarded with magnificent views and the awesome power of water when it is in full flow. Not to be missed. I plan to go there again quite soon.

This waterfall is by no means world-class. That said, it's an easy, pleasant 5 to 10 minute uphill walk through the woods, with a nice view of a medium-sized waterfall as your payoff at the top. If you're passing by (driving the Ring of Kerry or visiting Muckross House and/or Killarney National Park) you should certainly allow a little time... More

We took the red walk with the kids. Hundreds upon hundreds of steps up torc mountain. 2 and a Hal hour walk to the waterfall from the red arrow walk. Fabulous walk and kids enjoyed the waterfall at the end of the walk.

short walk to get to the waterfall, which is a perk. then the waterfall is breathtaking! there are lots of stairs after the waterfall and they will give you some great views of the park below

Just the drive to the Torc waterfall was stunning, but the short walk up the well marked path to Ireland's largest waterfall was like something out of a Tolkien novel. I nearly expected an Elven princess to be gliding down the moss covered mountainside. If you have the time, and the day is clear, definitely head up the stone steps... More

Torc Waterfall is a lovely spot to visit. The walk is not hard to make and the view is worth the stop. There are moss covered trees along the pathway that definitely are pivture worthy! There are steps next to the fallls that take you to the top of the falls. I didn't try.

A store clerk in town had told us that this was a must see and to make the trip out of town to see it and she was right. My wife and I drove to the waterfall after visiting a Mockruss House, its about 2km down the road. They have a small parking lot and its hard to miss the... More

Just off the road a few miles from Killarney. We met two large men in wheelchairs being pushed up the slope to the waterfall by two straining women but if they could do it most people should manage to walk the short distance involved! Lovely cooling walk with tumbling water on a sunny day. The more youthful can walk further... More

Well worth taking a short walk to the waterfall. I'd skip the extra stairs above the waterfall. Didn't lead to anything exciting except a nice view of the two lakes.
