It's a pretty waterfall but not anywhere near as outstanding as other sites in Killarney. An easy walk, but that also means it's crowded and good luck getting pictures that aren't filled with people climbing in and around the falls. Worth the walk but good luck with the parking lot.

We happened across Torc Waterfall on complete accident, but were so glad we did. A very short hike takes you to a gorgeous waterfall. There are hiking paths but we had hiked most of the day so decided to make it a short visit. Definitely worth 30 minutes of your time in Killarney!

This was our last stop after Ross Castle and Muckross House. We should've just walked up to the waterfall and then back to our car. We instead chose to continue on the path thinking it would just loop right back around to the bottom. As it started to pour we realized this was not the case and it wasn't always... More

. . . as you bike or walk around Muckross and Middle Lake. The waterfall is Irish-style, which means it's not, for instance, something you'd see at Yosemite or Yellowstone in the states. But it's a charming spot, full of ferns and rocks and tourists, and doesn't take you far out of your way as you pass by.

The walk to see the Torc Waterfall is just a few min from the parking area. There are several other much longer hikes identified. It was a 15 min stop for us and overall pleasant & a beautiful view.

Just a waterfall. Steep-ish up hill walk. I wouldn't recommend going out of your way just to visit this.

We took one of the "jaunty car" rides from Forest Haven B & B, into Killarney National Park. Our driver Paddy, dropped us off here and let us tour around for a bit, then met up with him later and toured the remainder of the Park. We came back later and hiked to the top of Torc Mountain. The hike... More

I never get tired of walking up to see the Torc Waterfall. It is always cool because of the tree cover and I love looking at the moss covered trees on the way up to the waterfall. It is a great place to sit for a while and just relax.

I think we went on a very dry week, the water wasn't a fast as we had hoped it would be. There were a lot of students in the slow flowing water enjoying themselves. It was a lovely walk to the bottom of the waterfall, the trees shaded us from a very hot sun that day.

The surroundings are absolutely beautiful. Only about ten minutes to walk to the falls. Very close to Killcarney and other attractions such as Ross Castle, the national park, Ladies View, and Muckross House. All four can be seen in about a four hour span.
