Torc Waterfall is a nice place to visit. The waterfall is average in size compared to those in the US and other countries. We arrived via a horse and buggy ride. Not sure I would go if I had to hike up to it.

Anyone trying to figure out if they should make time for this site or not, don't leave it out ! So beautiful and such a sweet little spot. We spent about an hour here and even climbed the rocks all the way to the second platform where you can see the waterfall even better. Go and don't think twice about... More

We have been here now several times and love it each time more. The best time to visit is the following morning when there has been a heavy rainfall the night before. Go early by 09.15am if possibble because later on from around 10.00am it gets very busy and difficult to park.

You can walk to Torc waterfall from Muckross Abbey or access from a near by entrance with a short uphill walk to the waterfall. Beautiful scenic and photographic opportunities.

My husband and I took a cart ride from Muckross house to the falls and back. What a charming way to see the sights. While the Torc waterfall is no Niagara it was worth the visit

The waterfall was attractive though there were lots of visitors. I was looking forward to the walk around it, but the circular trails were not well marked. I started to follow the yellow trail but soon was not able to locate any signs or colour posts and had to abandon it. There is a lovely easy walk though from there... More
