Driving along the Kerry Way is wonderful, with magnificent views, and not as anxious-ridden as driving the Beara or Dingle Peninsulas, i.e., there are high-altitude roads but not as many or as bad as other places.

We had a great day exploring various locations along the Kerry Way and were blessed with sunshine which really helped to admire the views. So much to see and definitely worth the effort to drive the distance.

We were driven by a wonderful guide and driver -- described and rated elsewhere in my profile -- Sean O'Rourke. I've described the high points separately. One caution: if you drive in spring, summer or fall, drive in a counter-clockwise direction. There will be many buses and the roads are very narrow, often impossible to pass. French travelers are currently... More

Stunning landscapes and very suitable for pictures, small hikes and allow the drivers and travelers to make stops all along the road.

I booked a bus tour from the Malton Hotel in Kikkarney. This day long excursion was wonderful with many interesting stops along the way. Mine included Bog Villahe, sheepdog shepgarding, a stop at the tallest point in the Kerry Way for lunch and photographs and Ladies View along the Kilkarney National Patk. It was a very worthwhile trip. I would... More

I did the tour in November so it was quite cloudy and rainy, but if you can do the tour in the summer so you get even better views than I did! 10/10, would recommend.

Read these reviews with care. The Kerry Way is a spectacular 120 kilometers walking trail around the Iveragh Peninsula. The Ring of Kerry is on the ROAD! Most of these reviews are from people who have NOT seen The Kerry Way!
