We did not expect such beautiful scenery and it took a lot longer than expected as we had to keep stopping to take in the views. We were told it was magnificent but it still came as a surprise, it has to be done, but took all day. More

We drove through the hills frm Killarney and then round the coast. The views are spectacular and we were lucky to have sun. We did the hilly bit again, and had even better weather...who says it always rains! More

We hiked "The Ring of Kerry" from Killarney to Waterville in 6 days, staying at a Bed and Breakfast each night. We hiked 9-13 miles a day over varied terrain. The Kerry way is one of the most beautiful walks in the world. It is suitable for all ages and abilities you can break it up into smaller walks. Just look out for the signs. The area around Kenmare Bay is gorgeous and in the Killarney National Park. Worth a visit. More

I found this very difficult as I was with a flue/chest infection, and this was the race called the wild west run from Kenmare to Muckross, thirteen miles through the mountains and then to the torc waterfall and then from there back to Muckross, very good sceenary, and diversity and would love to visit there again.
