I'm not sure why half of these reviews talk about driving this road: you can drive on it for about a mile, after turning left off the main road out of Killarney, after the pony trekking place. You can park then at the high carpark ( and first walk down to the Torc waterfall if you please). The road continues... More

As an avid racer back in the US, this drive was both intense and amazing. So scenic but also so daring to the newbie. Posted speeds were higher than most would dare to go; but then again, why would you want to go fast here? There is so much to stop and see. We did a GoPro video of driving... More

Absolutely stunning views, it's definitely my favourite part of the Ring of Kerry, the road is narrow and winding but worth it

And this part is just perfect. Start the ring of Kerry at Killarney and do it counter-clockwise. If you do it this way you will enjoy it the most

By bus or by car you will find this journey delightful. The roads may be narrow but the greens ,the flowers, the sheep grazing, the hills, the mountainsthe stone fences ...all will bring scenes of Ireland at its best.Stop in the delightful town of Kenmare and savour a casual pub lunch.

This road is on the way towards The Ring of Kerry, off the N71. The road only goes a couple of kilometres in to a parking lot, from there it is hiking trails. The other reviews, must be thinking about another road. If you're a hiker this place is amazing with absolutely stunning trees. We did not actually hike the... More

This narrow winding road was by far one of my favorite places on the Ring of Kerry. You will never be without an abundance of "eye candy" as the twists and turns of the roadway bring to view something more beautiful than the turn before.
