Very beautiful sights at this point on the Ring of Kerry. The weather was only so so when we where here but it was still very nice. Would recommend a good camera. More

If this is a stop along your route it would be good to get some pictures and a coffee perhaps. I wouldn't recommend going out of your way for it though, tough drive with lots of crazy bikers all over the small curvy road. More

We were renting our own car for our week in Ireland and I will say that after driving the Dingle Peninsula this was much more of a demanding drive. On the ring of Kerry this is one of several really great stops for a view of the water and mountains.Iconic scenes of Ireland include rolling hills and distant mountains and the beatiful green countryside. This is one easy stop on the narrow winding road that's worth watching for. More

Unfortunately when we were there it had started to rain and views were limited but spectacular. The Avoca shop had everthing you could want. I had to stop myself from overspending on gadgets and kitchen appliances and cookery books. More
