The best view in Ireland. A close drive from Killarney. Easy to find. Make sure to take your camera.

Awesome view of the lakes far below. There is no warning signs as you approach so take care or you will drive past as we did and it was difficult to find a place to turn around. There are several other viewing points lower down but not with as full a view of the valley.

The view requires a lot of photographs be taken. From the distant view to the rock structures you are standing on there are many opportunities for the shutterbug's imagination to express itself.

I really liked the very soft lamb's wool scarves that I purchased here. Also, you can buy legal Poitin here. What a find. There is also a small cafe where I had one of... More

Wow, this place is stunning. Totally worth a visit on the ring of Kerry. We got some great selfies and there is a cafe there too, open till around 6pm.

This is an ideal vantage point to take in the majestic scenery of this beautiful County. Its free so if your are in Killarney then why not take in the breath taking scenery and maybe consider taking a picnic and make the most of this idyllic location.

Such Stunning views from up here. Very expensive cafe up here though, with a sandwich costing around €8. Make sure to have the camera ready

We found it a little disappointing ( maybe because it was raining?) and the road to get there is winding. We preferred the Gap of Dunloe which we found more spectacular and romantic.
