I did some running here before breakfast today and enjoyed it very much. On the way I met several curious cows, horses and even a roe deer. Visiting this area early in the morning definitively was a good idea!

Beaufiful walk past this famouse house to the desmane ending p at Ross Castle ,the house is been renovated at the moment when finished will be great to revisit.

Just wait until the house has been refurbished, then the park will be well worth a stroll or even take a horse and cart ride, good views over the lower lake, watch out for the deer, early spring and you'd have the cherry trees out in flower..

This is accessible from the town (across from the Methodist Church). If the weather is fine, pick up a sandwich & make a picnic here. It is the St. Stephen's Green of Killarney but it's a hidden gem. Right now Killarney House is being renovated so that will be ongoing for a while, but not impinging on the enjoyment of... More

The gardens are beautiful and there are lots of benches to sit and contemplate and enjoy the peace and quiet of these magnificient parklands. We did a self tour during the early morning hours in the early Spring in order to take our ease.
