A very fine example of a Pugen designed church building. Lovely stained glass and lighting features inside.... The shell has been stripped of its original plaster interior to reveal the underlying stone ... has been well presented and quite beautiful to look at..

Having just toured St. Patrick's in Dublin the day before with all the stories of patrons and competitive shrines to themselves, we enjoyed the simple calm amid splendid architecture here

Went during evening mass. Beautiful old cathedral & setting across from the Killarney national forest. Enjoyed walking around the grounds as well.

Every where you go in Ireland is another church; and they are beautiful. This one is in Killarney and is within walking distance form almost everywhere. Details are well done and extensive.

This beautiful Cathedral was right infront of us when we walked out of the Killarney National park gates. The interior really is breathtaking on a massive scale. We are not religious but enjoyed siting and investigating this beautiful manmade creation.

Beautiful cathedral. I brought some holy water and crosses to the church and found a wonderful priest who blessed them for me.

We visited the cathedral as part of a 2 days stay and were lucky enough to attend a mass with the arch bishop of New York. The architecture of the cathedral is most impressive, which when combined with the story of how it was built before and after the famine is worthy of seeing.
