We are a group of 15 individual Jaunting Car Tour Operators which have amalgamated to form this partnership. Most of us are Second and Third generation Jaunting car operators. To date we have been operating as individual operators but feel that we need to pool together our knowledge and experience to stay on top of the ever changing market. Our experience spans over 350 years combined. We have up to 25 carriages which allow us to cater for large groups as well as smaller groups. We are proud to have the oldest Jarvey (Jaunting car operator) in Killarney with us, who boasts an impressive 50 years of experience. We are proud to be in operation 7 days a week, 364 days a year, making Killarney Horse & Carriage Tours Killarney's only all year round tour operators!

This was my second time doing a jaunting tour with this company. The horse & carriage picked us up from our hotel in the centre of Killarney & we did the Mockross House tour which took a couple of hours & cost €15. Michael was the driver, he was very informative & was happy to stop along the way so... More

My family of 5 really enjoyed this hour tour of Killarney National Park. Since we went on the off season, we were fortunate to have this 5th generation driver take us out in the morning with his horse "Maggie's" only ride for the day. He was charming and very informative.

The horse and carriage ride proved to be the best way to see the local geography around Killarney. They provided blankets on a chilly morning and had very good commentary that added on to the overall experience.

Definitely worth it even though you can walk or drive good portions of the course. We took the upper lake your in the morning than went to your Muckross house. Instead of driving to the falls we took a second tour to the lower lakes and falls. Don't skip this it is a lot of fun

We took an hour ride through Killarney National Park and a bit of the city. Our Jarvey (or driver) was a 4th generation Jarvey and knew the history well. He stopped for picture taking at strategic points and made recommendations for things to come back to see. Our horse Bob was part Clydesdale and definitely up to the task of... More

My wife and I opted to do this two hour, horse and buggy tour. You can pick up one of the buggies across the street from the Ross Hotel. Our buggy owner and driver was Daniel or Danny along with his horse Patrick. Daniel, was very informative, with a bit of Irish humor kicked in. He stopped whenever we wanted... More

We were in Killarney for a couple of days. One of those was devoted to driving around the Ring of Kerry, and the other devoted to exploring Killarney National Park. After speaking with our hotel’s staff about the best way to see the park, we decided to opt for a famed “jaunting cart” operated by this organization. (A “jaunting cart”... More

We met Mike O'Grady and his lovely horse Jesse late in the afternoon for a ride around the National Park. Four other gentlemen from Chicago joined us and Mike dropped them off at the local horse race. We had a good time talking about who to bet on at the races. Mike gave us so much information about the park,... More

Brilliant trip out to Ross Castle with Katie the horse and her owner (we forgot to ask him for his name) - it was fun and interesting. We were given information about the national park in a funny and interesting way and seeing everything like this was really good - peaceful and different. We thought it was good value. We... More
