The area is extremely beautiful, and exploring it by kayak is really worth it. It was also fantastic to stop at Inisfallen Island and get to see its ruins, wild deers and even poisonous trees (!) I had no previous kayaking experience, but that was okay, because MJ, on top of being super friendly, was also very helpful when he... More

My fiancée and I signed up for a canyoning trip. Due the adverse conditions, the trip had to be cancelled. Nathan, the owner, gave us a full refund and sent us on a free kayaking trip to make it up. This is going way above and beyond as far as I am concerned. The kayaking trip was amazing and the... More

Fantastic day tour. We visited Wicklow, Glendalough, and Kilkenny. Absolutely beautiful. Along the way we stopped at a castle, an abandoned abbey and a national park where part of Braveheart was filmed. Then visited a monastic settlement. Just lovely. The bus was very comfortable and Pat made sure we stopped several times for bathroom and snack breaks. Pat gave us... More

Great way to see the lakes and hear some of the history of the islands and caves. Instructor MJ was excellent. A few of us who had not kayaked before had no issues. Highly recommended.

The sunset kayaking trip is worth every penny! My friends and I went last week. I would definitely recommend this trip and I would do it again! It was beautiful and our guide, MJ, was awesome! He took us through some caves and to a few of the islands on the lake.

Just back after a brilliant kayak trip on the Lakes of Killarney with the family family. Our instructor MJ was excellent, very professional and put everyone at ease from the beginning (none of us had really kayaked before). A highlight for us was a stop off on Cow Island for some chai and chocolate... in all our years living in... More

We had a memorable kayaking tour of Ireland's 11th largest lake, Lough Leane, and its deepest at 75M, Muckross lake, with near perfect conditions. The 6 hour safari, with timely breaks, had a variety of interesting historic and geographical features to visit and surrounded by magnificent scenery. Our 3 teens have the kayaking bug and are eager for more. Nathan... More

Loved this 3 hour experience with Outdoors Ireland. We started out in the early still-dark morning, under the expert guidance of Nathan. Watching castle and monastery and swans emerge as the sky lightened. With the constant backdrop of dramatic mountains, there is a strong sense of medieval Ireland. And in case anyone is worried, kayaking is easy peasy! It's fun,... More

Myself and my 16 year old daughter spend a fantastic day kayaking with Nathan and Patrick on the lakes of Killarney on Easter weekend. As I haven't kayaked in 15 years it was a great way to be re-introduced to the sport. Nathan and Patrick were very fantastic, very professional. The weather was perfect which made the trip more enjoyable.... More
