We went on the Cliffs of Moher and the Connemara/Cong Tours with GTC. We had the same tour guide both days -- Michael O'Malley! He was wonderful! We very much appreciated his stories and knowledge and learned so much! We would definitely recommend both tours - but DEFINITELY go on the Connemara one, because that was EPIC! Such beautiful scenery,... More

Bus drivers are really great tour guides in GTC. Lots of information, but told in a funny and entertaining way, with jokes and Irish humor. I especially liked the driver on a Connemara & Cong tour, called Michael, because I could understand almost everything he said. With other drivers I wasn't so lucky,, because of the stronger accent and very... More

Went on the bus/ferry tour to the Aran islands and Cliffs of Moher, it was incredible. Our tour bus driver was hilarious and full of what he considered useless, but I thought very insightful and interesting information. He even gave us a walking tour on Inisheer which only added to the fantastic day. If you're in Galway this tour is... More

I've just got back from an absolutely fabulous tour of The Burren, Inisheer, Doolin and the Cliffs of Moher. Paul, our driver/guide was inexhaustible with his knowledge of the history, culture, environment, and myths and legends of the area and very entertaining. On Inisheer he was available to tell us about the prehistoric, medieval, Napoleonic and recent history of the island,... The company is very accommodating picking us up right at our B&B. They brought us to a central location sorted us for our correct tour and we got on PJ's bus. What a fun and kind driver took us around, commented the spots history and gave light humor to his commentary. It was a great time and took so much... More

We decided to go with Galway tour company because their package seemed extensive and all for a very good price. Our tour guide Micheal Roody was amazing, he had a lot of information for us in regards to history and folklore, he was also hilarious my friend and I found ourselves really interested in everything he was saying and enjoying... It's a one day tour that takes you from Galway out to Inisheer island by ferry. The island is beautiful and by itself is worth the price, but the highlight is the cruise along the bottom of the cliffs of Moher. I am unable to describe how awe inspiring it was. After cruising along the bottom of the cliffs you... More

The guide, Laura, was very nice and funny, but personnally I didn't appreciate the "very touristic" way of talking, that make me think of my school holidays when I was 13 or to the very "american enthusiastic way of talking". However she told some very nice tales and anecdotes about Irland, which I most appreciated about the tour guiding. The... More

What a fabulous day! Tour guide PJ knew the history, was entertaining and made the day delightful! The beauty of the countryside was breath-taking. I would highly recommend this day tour and hope you are fortunate enough to get PJ as your guide! By the way, the price is extremely reasonable.

I found the tour very relaxing and the driver/guide Paul was very knowledgable and informative. There was loads of time at the cliffs for photos etc. also check out the information centre.
