We enjoyed our evening out at the Medieval Banquet. It was a delightful experience as the cast entertained us from as we entered the castle til we departed. In the banquet hall seating we become "banquet" friends with the couples beside us- great way to share the experience. The four course meal was good however it seemed it was not... More

Something that's it's worth to stop, visit and stay around for a bit. The surroundings are great and it seems like a magical place to be at the end of the day when the sun is going down( if u can see the sun) Great pictures can be done here.

Even though i have lived in Kinvara for 10 years, this was my first Medieval Banquet. It was an absolutely fantastic night. From being met with cup of mead, greeted as lords and ladies and very enjoyable entertainment. The four course meal was plentiful and the wine flowed freely. All in all a ten out of ten for a great... More

This was not the traditional Irish “armless dancing” entertainment that I was expecting, but that turned out to be just fine. We saw the dancing in another city later, and the entertainment at this banquet was quite good. I’m glad we went. In general when I go to something like this, I want to be sure to get a good... I had always wanted to feast in a castle so I was very excited to attend. I'm glad I wore warm clothes as it was cold in the castle even in May. We were greeted at the door like royalty and were given a bowl of honey mead before being shown up a flight of narrow stone stairs to the... More

Dun Guaire ( a 15th Century Castle ) is situated on Galway Bay and the Banquet is a " must see " for anybody holidaying in the area. I have been many times and love it - on every visit. Enjoy! I did!

If you aren't castled-out, you should really attend the medieval banquet at Dunguaire. We were pretty done by the time we visited Dunguaire, so we didn't stay for the banquet. But, it looked like a lot of fun!
