We had our dinner here. I had the pasta and chicken. It was nice but not outstanding. Lots of vegetables and potatoes served with the other dinners, keeping the hungry golfers happy.

We had a rainy day but that actually really helped us enjoy the day. The course was empty so we took our time. NO CARTS so be ready for a long day of walking. The course is affordable, well maintained, and easily accessible from downtown Galway. Would go back.

We don't play golf but we like to eat ;-). And so we tried the restaurant and we came back 2 days later. The interieur was very colorfull and having views over the golf course and putting green. The staff was very friendly and we had great dinners. The scallops (without black pudding because we don't like that) were very... More

Played here every year for past 5 years. What more can I say. Try Galway bay resort at Oranmore is even more spectacular. Try and go at end of July and participate in the open competitions and you will be charged at special rates. The Golf courses in Galway are great.

Galway Golf Club is a class above the rest and must be the best hidden gem in the country. The quality of fairways here are as good as greens on some other courses .Greens, ,Bunkers and even the rough are kept in pristine condition on a course that's tough but fair. The pace of play here is refreshingly brisk despite... More

The proprietor of our B&B in Salthill suggested the Galway Golf Club restaurant, down the street, as a relaxing, cost effective, alternative to downtown Galway. You don't need to be a member of the golf club to eat here (and you don't need to play golf here either), but there's free parking, and the view of Galway Bay from the... More
