Intimate and at the same time powerful concert. Well organised and not expensive for one hour and a half of good music outside the pubs. Great sound too.

My family and I had an exceptional experience at Tunes in the Church hearing and learning about traditional Celtic music. The setting is simple and beautiful. The artists are engaging and gifted. We'd strongly recommend people check this out when in Galway!

This is a great way to experience traditional 'Irish' music outside of a bar setting. The music was great and very interactive for the audience. Lovely atmosphere in the church as well. The only negative thing I would say is that just by chance we saw the same concertina player and dancer in the Latin Square earlier in the day... More

Great music in a wonderful atmosphere (not to mention the fine acoustics). We were pleasantly surprised to find the interval included an optional brief tour of the church, which added to the evening. But most of all, the music and commentary from the musicians really made this -- well worth it.

If you would like a slightly different slant on the Irish music scene this comes recommended. Great atmosphere in the church and high standard of traditional irish music.

This was held in St Nicholas Church in Galway. The night we went included players of the following instruments: Concertina, Accordian, Penny Whistle, and Irish Harp. There was also some Irish dancing. A good evening

Take your friends and family! This is a beautiful experience! A wonderful chance to listen to beautiful Irish music and see amazing dancing all while sitting in an acoustically perfect section of a 13th century church! Lovely dialogue by the artists provide a glimpse into Irish culture. So glad our family went.

The performers were excellent-they were down to earth but world class musicians. Great stories and a variety of musical styles, all "trad" music. The hostess of the evening also, did some traditional Irish step dancing, and gave a tour of,the church at intermission. This evening is not to be missed if you are in Galway in the summer. Get there early... More

A pleasant way to spend a Weds evening. The young musicians have great passion and great talent. The star of the evening for us was the amazing Sean-nòs dancer. Amplify the introductions and you have a 5 star show.

It was something I've always wanted to see..very entertaining performance, lovely location with great acoustics is actually taking your breath away... there was lots of instruments playing, singing, but not as much of dancing, basically only a little example of it.. but still I have liked it very much!
