Fiona Brennan conducted an enjoyable and engaging walk of Galway! I would highly recommend her guided tour, before you venture off in to Galway, if you did not know the history of Galway. After our tour we saw all the sights and even "kicked the wall."

Thanks to Rick Steves we contacted Fiona Brennan in Galway for a walking tour. From the get -go she was superb. She even starts her tour where there is free parking and near a hotel where we sheltered (the usual 4 season day) and got an overview of what we would see and the history of the area. Go to... More

One of the better tours in a fascinating city. Rich in history and churches. This is a great city for tourists. Small lots of shopping and eats and pubs. Be sure to get the "church lore" in the anglican church.

We had a lot of fun on this tour with Carl. He sure knew his city especially the history. He lost my husband a few times when he was listing too many dates but I'm passionate about dates and history so I didn't mind so much. Carl showed great patience and control when a big group of about 25 French... More

There is so much interesting history with galway - I had no idea! If you're a bit squeamish you might not enjoy some of the stories haha, but it's worth the 2 hours to do it. I forget the name if our guide, but he knew quite a lot and was great at answering other peoples questions. Definitely do these... More

We recently spent 90 minutes with Fiona Brennan. She was both informative and funny. As she had stated from the onset- she wanted to have Galway charm us into returning- which it did (with her help).

Well, maybe not the only way, but with Fiona Brennan as your guide you will be educated and entertained. She is delightful with a love of her city and its history and lore that will make you wish it could be much longer. Plus, she tells you what to see that she couldn't get to in the 1&1/2 hrs. of...
