Great way to learn the history of Galway

Connor Reardan is very knowledgeable and an interesting guide. Not a strenuous walk, but saw much of the city and learned it's history. Highly recommend!

I paid 14 Euros for my Galway Walking Tour. Armed with our wet weather gear we met up with our tour guide Connor Reardan at Eyre Square. Connor gave us an excellent talk and showed us the walls of the medieval city (1270). We then walked to St Nicholas Church & saw the Medieval House that was 500 years old.... More

On the 2rd of December 2014, we with my colleagues went to visit Galway city and the reason was to have a tour on the city and find out it history and to do some shopping. Inside the Corbett Court Shopping Centre (off Eyre Square), there is a wall which was built around 400 to 500 years ago which they... More

alot of fun, really easy to understand the whole history and various areas of Galway with this free walking tour. our tour guide was funny and had alot of knowledge about the city as a whole and the past history that makes Galway today. I would totally recommend this but ensure to bring a jacket/umbrella cause it will make your... More

We had a great time learning about the history and background of the city and locations. Our guide, a young guy named Lorcan, did a great job. Real passionate and thoroughly knowledgeable of the town. Showed a lot of patience when an elderly local woman started following our group and adding to his comments. He responded very kindly to her... More

Keeva is a great tour guide, who is very enthusiastic and contains a wealth of knowledge about Galway. Tour was a great way of learning about Galway and seeing most of the worthwhile sites. And she's from Queens!!!

Our guide (Keeva) was friendly, dynamic and full of energy (despite the weather). We learn a lot during the 1h30 of walk. Moreover her accent was really easy to understand. Thanks to her.

I went on this tour one Saturday morning and it was one of the best I have ever been on! Keeva was our guide and she was friendly, funny, and informative, and backed up the idea of the Irish being great 'craic'. it was interesting and fun without leaving out any details, adults and children alike enjoyed the tour. The... More

Didn't take long to discover there was so much history to Galway. What is before your eyes and hidden away was all covered in this very enjoyable two hour walking tour. It is really not a big walk for those that don't like to walk as Galway is really pretty small and lots of the history is with about 10... More
