I was disappointed by my visit to Kylemore Abbey. The grounds and everything on it are extraordinary. You can spend all day exploring. Amazing brilliant attraction. One of my favourite places in the country. Not just an historic site but a boarding school today. Whoever gets to attend or send their children to this place is lucky and well-off indeed. more

Kylemore Abbey is stunning, and I found the gardens to be the best of any I saw in Ireland (even better than Powerscourt, I thought, which are said to be the best). Do not miss Kylemore! Plan to spend at least half a day visiting the house, gardens, and cathedral. They have a great gift shop, too, with a nice... more

My family visited Kylemore Abbey May 2006; It was even better than I remembered from our trip 12 years ago. The renovations have transformed theplace. The views are breathtaking.
