I have a particular crush on abbey ruins in Ireland and drag my husband all over the country to traipse about the stones and carvings. While not a large ruin, Clontuskert is well worth the visit, with some beautiful carvings and arches, as well as an exceptionally creepy, armless statue of Jesus leaning forlornly at the edge of the boundary!... More
