Four of us booked to see Brendan Behan's Borstal Boy. We had one wheel chair user in party and we were stuck in the back row. In other theatres (abbey, lyric) wheel chair users can see the stage. Great old Victorian theatre and thoroughly enjoyed first half. There was one free seat beside us and at the interval the staff... More

€35 for a ticket and I couldn't see the stage from my seat. What a rip off. I couldn't see anything at all.

I saw the Riverdance performed here. The theatre has a very warm and welcoming feeling, while it seems very intimate and small it still hold a large number of people. The theatre is in a very central part of Dublin so its easily accessible. Would very much recommend if you are interested in seeing a performance.

My family saw Riverdance performed here in July and it was a great experience. The theater was a neat environment and exuded a home-feeling. The facility was great for being able to see the dancing as well as hearing the wonderful music that was played as part of the show. The seats were also comfortable, which was a plus for... More

Went to the Gaiety to see a matinee performance of the Musical Grease unable to get evening tickets. It was a great show with an excellent cast and well worth going to see. A comfortable and well laid out Theatre, our second visit to it and look forward to the next time

I went in person to the box office in the Gaiety Theatre Dublin to book tickets for a new and very self-conscious wheelchair user. Despite checking and rechecking with the two box office staff on duty, when we arrived on the night we were told that the tickets were not wheelchair accessible and the staff on duty just assumed the... The interior has been restored and is worth a visit alone. The play was great, if a little difficult for non-Irish English speakers to understand--especially some of the political humor. But overall a very great cultural experience. Very nice bar area to have a drink before the show or during the intermission. Centrally located and easy to reach by public... More

This was a great experience and did not want this play to end. The acting was top class and both leads - Peter & Gary would of made Brendan behan a proud man, outstanding from the whole cast . For me it was a standing ovation . .... I was sitting in the grand circle and the sitting was ok... More
