I have been to countless pantos here over the years, I would even say it is the better panto here in Dublin as opposed to the other one over at the Olympia. To be honest, I haven't seen anything else here, must have a look at the listings!! Anyway, was strolling past the other day and took a pic and... More

Attended the Rat Pack in The Gaiety Theatre last Saturday night. Place was jammed with tourists all attending this fabulous show. We went into the bar for interval drinks as we arrived to late to order some in advance. We went to the bar where there was a slight dip in the floor resulting in me tripping through the service... On 10 March 2015 I made my first visit in about five years to the Gaiety Theatre in Dublin. I look forward to enjoying stage productions in a variety of settings and Dublin is the prime location for quantity and quality of dramatic offerings. The production this night was the latest play from celebrated playwright Martin McDonagh, "Pillowman." The show... More

The Gaiety Theatre is a fine old venue and has played host to countless wonderful nights of entertainment. Martin McDonagh's latest offering, 'The Pillowman', currently running on South King Street, is not one of them. The theatre luvvies may well love it. It seems they indeed do - Tony Awards across the pond, positive reviews in the Irish Times today... More

This was our first visit to this old historic theatre. We went to see Ross O'Carroll-Kellys 'Breaking Dad'. What a great night. The show itself is hilarious and a laugh a minute. Would highly recommend it to anyone. As for the theatre, we had great seats, Row G, seven rows back from the stage. The atmosphere and general feel of... More

We visited this theatre to see (or not see as it turned out) Paul Howard's breaking dad. We purchased our seats early, and paid full price for the upper circle, we were in row O, seats 1 and 2. From our seats we had a pathetic view of the stage. We could see only 60% of the the stage, anything... More

Visited Gaiety for first time. Sat matinee of J B Keane's Moll. Lighthearted comedy which was very entertaining and well acted and directed. Great location in city centre with easy access to pubs and restaurants. Had a restricted view in main body of theatre and failed to book anything else online or over phone due to ridiculous practice of not... More

We were fortunate to catch one of the last Riverdance 20th Anniversary shows at the Gaiety Theatre. If you're visiting Dublin, find a reason to visit this quaint, elegant theatre. It's exceptionally ornate and no matter where your seats are located, you should have a good view. Since the theatre is rather small, the stage isn't big either which in... More

If you're in Dublin you must try to either see a performance here, or at least stop by for a look-see (ask if you can pop your head into the theatre itself) The decor is of a by-gone era, and the chandelier is magnificent. Not sure you can get a 'bad seat' in the house. We will try to get... More
