Passed premises on one afternoon, seemed to be closed. Cant comment anymore, no notices on window or door, maybe it only opened at night, really cant comment any further. Disappointed to say the least.

Comfortable enough bar, good for a pre-gig pint. Can get seriously crowded later. Music, most northern soul, is a bit loud if you're meeting friends for a chat. One of the older bar staff is a seriously sullen chap and could do with a customer service course. But generally worth checking out if you're in town.

My absolute favourite pub in Dublin. Great beers. Great staff. And I love the fact that on any night in there I will hear great music that I have never heard before along with something great I had forgotten about. The upstairs room is sadly underused but hosted one of my favourite ever concerts when the Burning Hell played to... More

Always a nice place to have a few, was a Thursday evening staple for many years. Still a first pick for a night out or a quick catch up on the way home from work (which can often lead to a far later night than intended). Love the music too, you'll shazam at least once a night.

Have been here a few times over the last two years while in Dublin with work. Cosy bar, good service, good Guinness and some great Northern Soul music.

Great place to start the evening...Relaxed atmosphere, great music, very crowded (but I didn't minded), very friendly, polite and nice staff (especially one young lady and one young and always suited bartender). I'm only sorry that it doesn't work until later than 23-00h.

This is quite a dark, small, cramped pub - not the kind of place you'd go alone. For me, a major dampner on the mood was the terribly unfriendly barman - he was maybe in his late 30's, didn't speak a word when taking the order, money or delivering the drinks and change. He seemed moody, unpleasant and bored; like... More

Came in early on a Saturday night, before it started to get crowded. Plenty of comfortable seating for me and my friends, a quick and gracious barman, and not too noisy.
