Our first night in Ireland and we were lucky enough to spend it here. The music was great. We especially enjoyed the unusual instruments of Ireland that the boys played. They sang some songs you wouldn't sometimes here in local pubs, as they were songs that were very near and dear to the Irish people and some of their struggles.... more

The Merry Plougboys perform with unbelievable passion. I must say some of the songs stirred my very soul. Even my wife who is of german descent was moved by some of the songs. more

We all had a fantastic evening which couldn’t have been bettered! We have visited some `theme` pubs in the City centre and they didn't compare. The musicians were excellent and played some tunes that we hadn’t heard before. The Uilleann pipes were magical, the haunting evocative sounds even made my wife shed a tear!
