The menu is translated into a number of languages. Sounds obvious, but not everybody does it. I have been there several times and would give this advice: when Ivan does his bodhran solo, stop eating, stop, talking, just watch, listen and enjoy!

Little did we know what a great time we were in for when we arrived at the pub! We enjoyed a traditional Irish meal and were entertained by the Merry Ploughboys and traditional Irish dancers. It was all set up for audience participation. Everyone joined in and it was a real party...

We had a fantastic time at the pub having booked the nights music show a very pleasant driver runs the affordable shuttle service from the city. The food and bar menu is fantastic but the true star is the musicians, singers and dancers. The show was a magical experience!
Ended the tour we were on with 74 other pilgrims. Great food! Great entertainment! Included in the price of our tour. Would gladly do it again!
Our last night of our CIE tour was at the Merry Ploughboy Pub. It was a grand evening of song and dance. We were thrilled to be in Dublin's fair city and singing about Molly Malone. We were entertained with sing along and the Irish dance was not only unexpected, but of first class caliber.
Had a great time. Talented musicians and dancers, food is ok. Service is great. Worth the money. I would go back.
Fabulous night of entertainment, great fun, lovely food and top staff!!!! You won't be dissapointed!!!
Having read the reviews I knew this place would be good, I wasn't wrong. Well worth spending your money and enjoying a night out getting to see Dublin as you would expect. Don't get me wrong temple bar is a good crack, but these guys are top for having a laugh enjoying music, dancing and fab food the night over...

We had just completed a family walk up Tibraden and called in for sunday lunch. It was freezing cold day. The nice warm fire in the pub was most welcome. The staff were very good. Service was excellent. Food was great. Would like to visit at nightime.
