Come visit us in our own home at The Lansdowne Hotel, a beautiful 18th century town house in Dublin and experience the very best of Irish music, dancing and fine food! The Irish House Party combines all the singing and dancing of a traditional Irish house party with a Dinner and Theatre experience. House guests are entertained by All Ireland Champion musicians and dancers but also learn about Irish music, dance and culture in a fun way. First our guests enjoy a delicious three course dinner in The Irish House Party Pub. Our restaurant offers Irish home style cooking with big flavoured traditional dishes. There is a full bar available selling a wide range of beverages. We also have an extensive wine list. After your dinner the host brings you into the parlor room for The Irish House Party show. Our venue creates an intimate and personal atmosphere where guests can meet and talk with the musicians and maybe even perform something themselves! A reservation is required for our show and private group bookings can be arranged for any day and time convenient to your group.

The food was reasonably good and the entertainers were top notch. The reason why I am giving this a 3 star review is because the evening was not as described. We booked through Viator which gave the impression that if you came early for dinner a storyteller would lead you to your table and would talk to the dinner guests... More

Twice our family has gone to Ireland, and both times we've gone to The Irish House Party! Why? Because all of the very best things about Ireland are there - Incredible traditional music, good food, and friendly people! Dinner and the show are in an intimate space, making it feel more like a special evening with extended family. After dinner... More

We booked on line but when we turned up we seemed to be unexpected and had to sit in the bar for our dinner which was not very unappetising - obviously mass-produced for the party (some 150 people), and to a price, so we missed the banter with the other guests that we were looking forward to. At least we... More

We were a family of 11 (with a teenager and a 4 year old) and everything was great. The dinner before the show was satisfying and a good amount of food. The show was entertaining and fun. I really like the intimate and casual feel to the show. It was simple, three musicians telling stories, jokes, history, and information about... More

The venue is very small and not what We expected. The meal was geared to our foreign visitors as the Dublin coddle was never made by a real Dubliner. The performers spend most of the time explaining about Irish music rather than just playing it.Our teenagers were bored silly.Overall not very entertaining for Dubliners expecting a traditional music session.

Hi rmrc43. We hand a little chuckle here at the house party reading your review. The Dublin Coddle WAS actually made my a 'real Dubliner' and is one of the most popular dishes on our menu. We get plenty of Irish people at the party and they love it as you can see from our reviews. It is also completely... More

We had a great evening listening to this talented group of musicians and the watching the Irish step dancer. The traditional Irish dinner was very good and the evening was a great value! We had a wonderful evening!

We did the dinner and a show. There were about 40 people there. Food was good and did not have to wait between courses. The Show lasted about 90 minutes but I wish it could of lasted much longer. The performers where very talented. The whole show was not set in stone, they played songs they wanted to play that... More

Good fun for a group but this is not a gastronomic experience. The night appears to be a package - food included. It is basic food - not much choice but okay. We went to see the Irish House Party perform so the food was very much secondary. Best for families and groups.

Our welcome banquet on our Collette Vacations tour of Ireland was held at the Lansdowne Hotel and following that we went downstairs to experience the Irish House Party Show. Great fun. We got to experience the Irish harp, the Irish bagpipes, fiddling and the badhran (Irish drum). There was also lots of singing and Irish dancng.
