It was our last night in Ireland and we wanted to enjoy soothing Irish music. The performers played a good variety, provided Irish dancing and held a few sing-alongs. It was a thoroughly delightful evening. I'd recommend it for anyone visiting Dublin!

I had a wonderful time at the Irish House Party. I was traveling by myself and was seated with a young couple like myself. We had a great time talking about our trips to Ireland. The food was delicious and because I was so tired just arriving into Dublin, I believe getting the dinner and show was a great deal.... More

The entertainment was well worth the money! Irish House Party is a 4 person group that plays Traditional Irish Music, and even performs a few dances. Although the show is aimed at tourists, it was a lot of fun, and there were a few locals in the audience that seemed to enjoy it as well. The dinner we were served... More

This was our last night in Ireland. We arrived sharp on time 6.25 for 6.30 pm. Our order for dinner was refused 'under orders that 'the others had to arrive''. The others turned out to be in our small area, a table of children and 16 to 20 americans who arrived at 7.10pm 40 minutes late. The waitress replaced my... More

Recently in Dublin enjoyed this evening. The food was good, the service quick and efficient. We really enjoyed the show, four musicians, an Irish dancer who was amazing, and a lot of enthusiasm from the performers, and audience participation. Obviously this was aimed show was aimed at tourists, but as such was a great night out. I believe they rotate... More

You are served dinner in the hotel's restaurant. Food was great. After you go downstairs and are entertained by four musicians: man with guitar who tells stories and jokes, woman who plays fiddle and step dances, man who plays Irish pipes, man who plays bodrun, tin whistle, and Irish flute. Well worth the money.

My daughter and I visited The Irish House Party in The Lansdowne on June 22nd. After visiting we concluded that the show was smooth but lacked the real fire. Nothing special and we saw more enthusiastic musicians in the 'spit on the floor' pubs.

Dear Dirk, The Irish House Party is an intimate evening of Irish music dance and storytelling with some of the best performers in Ireland. It is set in a magnificent old Georgian House Hotel in the leafy Dublin suburb of Ballsbridge (Dublins literary quarter). I think maybe you were expecting a larger cabaret or Riverdance type of show which the... More

We went to the venue last weekend. For the visitor it was good. BUT to book a meal and show we found it was very haphazard. Told to be there at 6.30 to be seated for the meal. Yet we were not seated til 7.00pm. Only one person taking the orders and there was more service for buying 'a drink'... More
