We chose to take the walking tour with Pat Liddy that was included with our Hop on Hop off bus tour - also very worthwhile. Although Pat cautioned us to cross at lights he was a very fast walker and did not always check that everyone was with him. Unfortunately we lost the group on the way to Trinity College... More

We booked this tour over the phone and had no trouble finding the meeting point. Our tour guide Liam was very knowledgeable and had a great sense of humour which made the tour fun as well as interesting. There were opportunities to use toilet facilities and get a drink during the tour which made it quite a relaxed experience.

I just cannot say enough about how great this walking tour of 2 hours was! So informative, and right "down in it" - you walked and touched and saw and felt it all through our fabulous guide who made it both a learning experience and personal. I highly recommend this group for your tour.

Wasn't planning on taking a walking tour but discovered it was included in the price of the Freedom card so why not? Even at 10 euros, the tour would have been a steal. With unusually nice weather around 30 folks turned up for the tour but Colette was up to the challenge. She combined warmth, humor and a voice like... More

Had a great entertaining tour with Pat Liddy. Tour was scheduled to last 2 hours but with his enthusiasm it was nearer 3. He seems to know everything and everyone. Highly recommended.

General experience was poor. Our guide was an elderly man (I don't remember the name) who seemed to have good will to try, but not well succeeded. From sight to sight, he begun to talk before everyone grouped close to him and he spoke not loudly. Was difficult to hear. He also didn't have any humor or interaction with the... More

We walked for almost two hours, with Colette our guide, and discovered places we had never been before. it was strange being tourists in our own City but a really worth while exercise. I have a reasonable knowledge about the history of Dublin but learned a huge amount about familiar places, like City Hall or Christ Church Cathedral. We will... More

We had a walking tour in Dublin Ireland with JOE BISHOP thru Pat Liddy's tours of Ireland and he is the best! It was supposed to be 1.75 hours- he gave us 2.5 hours. What a lovely man and a great tour. You go to places that you would never go on your own- and he knows the history like... More

Free with Dublin Bus, Hop-on Hop-off ticket. Two hours of walking and great historical narrative from Irish tour guide. Well worth it. After Oct. only leaves 3 times each week so be prepared to work around that if you visit out of season.

We took a great walking tour with Joe Bishop. He was really knowledgable. My husband, who is a real student of Irish history, plied him with questions, which he was only to happy to answer. We walked away feeling that we gained more insight into the history of the country while enjoing the historical sights. We even had a sunny... More
