Ronan was an awesome tour guide, very knowledgable, approachable and captivating. The tour was well worth the 10 euros and a great way to get to learn about parts of the city I would otherwise have not known! Also a good way to see places to go and visit later on and spend more time in. Well worth doing one... More

Our family met up w/ Liam for a private half-day walking tour of Dublin. It was one of the most enjoyable and entertaining tours we have ever done...anywhere! We find the Irish people some of the most warm and happy folk we've ever met and Liam was no exception. He wove his humor into every story and our two teenage... More

We did this walking tour without booking a ticket ahead of time. You can book online but you can also come in person just before the tour and buy your tickets from the guide. As long as there is space, it shouldnt be a problem. My understanding from our guide is that there is a maximum size of 25 people.... More

We have been travelling around Europe and normally take a walking tour to orient ourselves and determine what attractions to spend time seeing. We normally look towards free tours but this tour was included in the Green Bus hop on hop off ticket so we tried it - what a lucky decision that was for us After about 20 such... More

Regardless of how long you are in Dublin for; this tour should be on your list. Over two hours you get to experience a number of key historical sites in Dublin on foot; the best way to see any city. Our guide Ronan, delivered his immense knowledge of Irish history with passion, candour and a twist of humour; that had... More

Our tour guide, Ronan Carey, with the Pat Liddy's Walking Tour was fantastic. A history student and Trinity College, he shared his knowledge with us in a charming, intelligent, and fun way. We often do walking tours and consider Ronan one of our best guides. In addition to the tour he also gave us tips about what to do and... More

This may be the best way to orient yourself when you first arrive in the city. Pat Liddy is a recognized expert in the history of Dublin. His guides (many students at Trinity College) will take you on a walk from the North side of the city, through the Temple Bar area, and finish at Trinity. With this as a... More

This may be the best bargain in Dublin. Our guide for the two hour walk was Ronan, a charming undergraduate in history at Trinity College. He was just the right combination of relevant information, trivia and humor. The walking pace was perfect. The only criticism is that the company could have been clearer as to the meeting point of the... More

Ronan, a third year Uni student was an outstanding guide around the highlights of Dublin. Two hours of excellent information and helpful hints. We got this tour as complimentary for booking the 2 day hop on hop off bus.
