Our small group was divided in 2 and the other lucky guys got Pat Liddy, we got some Italian guide who spoke only broken English with many mistakes trying to give memorized comments but did not have any background knowledge, no humour and of course no Irish charisma like any native Irish bus or taxi driver would have. He was... More

I am grateful for this review. The guide was hired for his fluency in French and Italian. He was improving his English since moving to Ireland and we thought his English had improved sufficiently to conduct our basic tour for us. It wasn't intended to use him that day in our off-season but more people turned up than expected. Clearly... More

We visited the Little Museum of Dublin on Saturday 28th March 15 and were told we could catch a walking tour which was just leaving. We are so glad we did, as our guide (I think his name was Donal) was absolutely great. He took us round St Stephens Green, explaing it's history and links to the Guiness family, stopping... More

First off, make sure you get your DUBLIN BUS CITY TOUR ticket and the PAT LIDDY WALKING TOUR is free, thus the terrific VALUE FOR MONEY boast! Our Guide (Louis/Liam?) was terrific .. .. Started off in front of the DUBLIN BUS MAIN OFFICE on O'Connell Street and hit a lot of interesting spots in the City Centre before ending... More

This is an excellent walking tour of Dublin. Our guide was knowledgeable and had a very good sense of humour. It was great to walk around the city and learn about the history of Dublin. In addition to the history, we also got so many fun facts around the coinage of phrases and language over the centuries. We took just... More

Great walking tour by Liam - lots of fun anecdotes and there was a genuine interest in everyone having a good experience. Tour lasted a couple of hours but a leisurely pace that was easy to manage. Would recommend as a great way to get to know more about the city and hear some fun jokes!

I completed a tour with Gerry Kelly on 24th December. Gerry has a great way with tourists, he is a fount of (mainly useful!) information and his passion for Dublin was expressed with his commentary. It is easy to recommend this tour to anyone visiting Dublin or wanting to learn more about the city.

We took this tour as it came free with our Hop-on-hop-off bus ticket.Out guide was very knowledgeable and obviously knew his stuff. He told us in detail the history of Dublin and about all the sites he took us round. This is a good tour as it gives a good overview of the city.

I had two hours to kill on the last day of my trip to Dublin so decided to join this walking tour. It was worth every penny- the guide was humorous and informative, the walk though tiring at an easy pace and took in parts of the city I would have otherwise missed. Highly recommended.

Not sure whether this was supposed to be "the Pat Liddy walking tour" but it was the one that started on O'Connell Street on Sunday at 11.00 am. There was an older gentleman who handed us off to our lady guide who was called "Pat". Pat had a great stock of information, was obviously very knowledgeable but what I liked... More

We had only 2 days in Dublin and took this walking tour on the first day. The guide was full of information and obviously enjoyed history and sharing it with others. Wish we could have gone back and spent more time at many of the places he took us.
