We lucked out to have Pat for our tour guide on a four hour walking tour. He is a wonderful historian who also knows how to tell a good story. In our group were a couple of Dublin locals and some children with parents. It is quite a talent to entertain and teach some history to such a diverse group.... More

We took a "Best of Dublin" with Pat Liddy's Walking Tours on July 31st. This is a great way to get up close and see the sites of downtown Dublin. Our guide,Ciarán, a recent Trinity College grad, provided an excellent history of the various sites we visited. He combined humour with his knowledgeable commentary which made for a relaxed and... We did the general walking tour which was free as part of the 'hope on hop off bus tour' - what great value. (I think you can also book and pay a fee if you don't have a Big Bus Tour ticket). The lady that led the tour was friendly and informative without being boring - injected a bit of... More

We had a great 1.5 to 2 hour walking tour with Gerry today. He is very good! Knowledgeable and witty. Best part is that if you buy the Green Bus (Dublin bus) hop on hop off tour for €19 the walking tour is included, otherwise you pay €10 for the walking tour only. Highly recommended

This was an approximately two hour walking tour of some of the historic sites and areas of Dublin. Our guide was a recent graduate from Trinity College and was well versed in the history of Dublin and the Republic of Ireland. Good way to start your time in Dublin to get a sense of where you might want to go... More

This review is a bit late coming. We did this tour a year ago. I truly wanted to thank Colette from Pat Liddy's walking tours for the fabulous morning we spent with her. We were a group of 12 off the Holland America Eurodam and had only a few hours to see as much of Dublin as we could. We... More

Sam, a student at Trinity, was our guide. He was GREAT. Knowledgeable. Obviously interested in the giving us history in an interesting fashion with great stories and trivia. And apparently always researching and reading more so he has more to share. A walking tour is one of the best ways to see a city, in my opinion, and this one... More

This tour was part of our Hop on Hop off bus ticket. I'm so glad we decided to take this tour. What a great way to learn about Dublin's history and see the city on foot. It is an easy walking tour and quite informative. Our guide was excellent! I highly recommend it to anyone spending time in Dublin.

Made this our first port of call on arrival in Dublin. Booked tour online via email as offered free to those with a 3 day Freedom Pass. Spent 2hours being guided around the sights, learning about the history of Dublin, and tips on where to visit. Pat handed this tour over to his young apprentice and little did we know,... More
