Description: This is a story telling tour brought to you by professional actors on...
This is a story telling tour brought to you by professional actors on Dublin's oldest Ghostbus. It tells tales of Dublin's dark & macabre history & about Dracula's origins. On this tour you will see and experience Dublin's more daunting sites and get a thrilling insight into some of the most gruesome tales in this fair city. On the tour, you will hear tales of; •Dr. Clossey and how he still roams the corridors of the College of Surgeons with his bucket of human entrails and innards, •The Lady in White, who haunts her cruel husband at St. Patrick's Graveyard. •The art of bodysnatching, and how it was once a lucrative business in our gruesome capital. The tour starts and finishes at Dublin Bus Offices on O'Connell Street. The tour costs €28, a 20% discount is available when bought online.

I highly recommend you take a ghost bus tour if you are visiting Dublin. You can book your tickets online on the day and just need to find somewhere to print the confirmation email. The locations (graveyard, church ruins and cathedral crypt) are perfect. The church ruins in particular have a chilling feel about them. Our tour guide Nick was... More

It’s been a long time since I have been on a tour that was as entertaining as this one. It’s not really a walking tour as you travel around Dublin on the upper deck of a tour bus with blacked out windows whilst your tour guide dressed in medieval costume tells you about Dublin in the plague ridden 15th century... We took the Ghost Bus Tour expecting some history of Dublin, albeit somewhat macabre. We really didn't learn much about the city. The tour was more aimed at people who like macabre, without any history to back it up. We did visit the crypt of one cathedral that was interesting but needed to return during the day to really experience... More

Based on the reviews, I was worried this tour would be more about the scare factor then stories about real places. I was wrong. Our time on the bus was... More

Had an absolute blast! Earned a PhD in tools of torture, became gravediggers & bodysnatchers & got to visit some of the local 'haunts'as it were. Guide Norman Bates, was very colourful & his sexy yet creepy driver made me feel most welcomed & part of the team. Highly interactive & equally recommended, didn't think I was going to get... More
