This two hour walking tour is led by a team of professional actors who follow in the footsteps of James Joyce, Samuel Beckett, Oscar Wilde, Brendan Behan and many others. You will hear renditions of prose, verse, drama and song from Dublin's literary hall of fame. The evening is packed with entertainment and also includes a quiz with prizes for the winners. As one critic wrote: 'A highly enjoyable evening that gives you the pleasant notion of replacing brain cells as you drown them'. Check our website for further details and to book online. « less

We had such a great time with Colm and Derek! We only had two full days in Dublin Cuty and this was a great way to get some history, laugh and enjoy the pubs. No prior knowledge of Irish writers required! More

This was a wonderful and entertaining night in Dublin. The two talented actors who led us on our crawl, charmed us with some beautiful storytelling mixed with some fascinating history. I enjoyed this tour so much and it even prompted me to read some Oscar Wilde and WB Yeats. Book this tour, you will not regret it!! More

The performers are informative, entertaining and friendly. My wife is not the literary type and she loved this activity. More

This is a must do for everyone visiting Dublin. I wish I had done it sooner. The evening is light, educational, moves along and is packed with interesting people. The leaders are skilled actors who weave historical information with literary pieces in a seamless way. It moves along so that you are never bored. There is no obligation or pressure... More

Thanks for your response and noting the intelligence of the customers who join the Dublin Literary Pub Crawl. It's true that we meet a huge cross section of people on the tour. From 16 years to 80+. They come from all walks of life but they have one thing in common - a thinking cap! Where would we be without... More

We had such a wonderful time on our Literary Pub Crawl! It was our first night in Dublin and we enjoyed getting the lay of the land. We met a lot of people from all over. It was cold but the actors did a WONDERFUL time showing everyone a great time. More

This was our second night in Dublin and we had great fun on this tour and met some great people! The pubs we went to had great atmosphere: O'Neill's and The Old Stand were my favorites and the two gentlemen running the tour were greatly entertaining. My husband ended up winning 2nd place on the end-of-tour quiz, a shot of... More

Really enjoyed the evening we went on this tour. The actors were terrific bringing the plays and stories to life. Learned a few things which is good; enjoyed a few laughs which might be better. Inspiring. I can't wait to get home, dust off my "Ulysses" and try reading it for the third time. More

The guides were absolutely fantastic, great actors, who were so knowledgeable about the writers and their lives, and the history... expertly woven into a very entertaining, amusing and informative journey to some of the oldest pubs in the city... makes you want to start reading the stories, poetry and history... lots of fun!
