My Husband and I were fortunate to do the historical walking tour of Dublin with Dr Connor McNamara. His knowledge of Dublin and its history is amazing and he has an easy, comfortable way of conveying it. Unfortunately, Trinity College was closed to visitors this Saturday morning (an unusual occurrence), but our tour still lasted +2 hours. We'd love Connor... More

Two days ago I took a private tour with Grace. The time absolutely flew by as we carreened through Dublin's medieval history. It was well-spiced by her particular, specific knowledge acquired during her Ph. D. research, so much so that I've asked to continue with a follow-up tour tomorrow. Grace's depth of knowledge in medieval Dublin made for a very... More

We were very lucky and had ideal weather for our walking tour with Tommy. Our tour got off a bit late because of some confusion with the guides but once Tommy arrived and took charge of the group, all was well. He gave us the highlights of Trinity College, Dublin Castle, the Easter Rising, Vikings in Dublin, and Irish culture.

Super guide called Peter. His approach was so refreshing. None of the romanticised stuff we feared. Only downside was that there were too many of us and several people did not pay. Peter struck me s rather other worldly. He needed an assistant to collect for him!! He was very clear in telling the story of 1916 to 1922 but... More

I had a lovely and most informative half-day tour of Old Dublin. Learned so very much and Connor was a delightful storyteller, who made Irish history come alive. Highly recommend!

Absolutely loved this unique tour of the city - a nicely designed run with stops along the way to learn more about the history of the city. Definitely recommend to those who are interested in seeing the city on foot and getting some exercise in while on vacation!

Very interesting 2 hr walking tour. Excellent guide (Sam) who was full of knowledge and passion (and Irish humour). I'm not a history buff at all and I loved it! You'll really get a good feel for Dublin and it's past.

The Tour started at a very reasonable time. I joined the group from my hostel at 1015 in the morning, which is great if you intend to go out on any pub crawls the night before. We were taken to a nice pub for a morning tea and to be divided into groups. James the tour guide for my group... More
