Take this tour if you can. Our tour guide was so knowledgeable and fun. We definitely got a feel for Dublin having been on this tour. We hit the highlights and gained a lot of insight into the city. We showed our Rick Steves guidebook and received a discount.

My family and I had the pleasure of going on a tour through the history of Dublin led by Ms. O'Keefe, a Trinity College Phd. He was engaging, warm, and knowledgable. She conveyed the subject matter with humor and insight. Terrific time, terrific tour.

My wife and I live in Dublin but I had done the tour twice about 15 years ago. This time we did it with 2 friends from Limerick and a group of about 15, mainly from US but one couple from UK. The guide was excellent; a northside Dubliner with no affectations but a large store of knowledge and an... More

Our guide Donal was excellent, funny and informative on our walk through some of the must see places in Dublin - take this walk first and then go back to places like Dublin Castle, Christchurch Cathedral, etc., as the walking tour does not go inside these sites but provides a good deal of info from the outside. Lots of details... More

This was my first tour in Dublin and I'm so pleased I chose this company. Grace O'Keeffe was the guide, she is a PhD graduate in Dublin history and not only knows her stuff but also knows how to communicate it in a way that is easy to understand. The tour started at Trinity College and ended at the City... More

We joined a tour lead by Gavin Finlay with others interested in the history of Dublin and were not disappointed. Starting at Trinity College and working our way through the city we had a great tour which was informative, objective and thought provoking. Gavin provided local knowledge and many anecdotal treasures, he looked after us well along the way with... More

We took the tour on a lovely sunny afternoon with some colleagues who were in Dublin for work the next day. As an alternative to taking them to the pub in Temple Bar it was a great choice and I found out a huge amount about a city I live in but rarely think about! Grace, the tour guide, did... More

We took the walking tour that leaves from the Sinn Fein bookshop. There isn't a lot to see on this tour--and that's one of the main points. Our guide provided a fascinating summary of Irish political history. We learned a great deal. Sad that this history is largely hidden.

We were so pleased that we did this tour on our first day in Dublin. We learned a lot about Ireland history and it set the stage for further sightseeing. Our tour guide was extremely interesting, knowledgeable, and nice. Highly recommend!

While the tour was interesting and informative, there were a few areas that could have been improved: 1) logistics: Everyone understands that construction and events can get in the way of a pre-planned route; but, it's really the job of the tour guide/company to be aware of these things and make appropriate plans around them. there were a few disappointments... I'm sorry that your experience of our historical walking tour wasn't what it should have been. Not only were there roadworks but the large front door of Trinity College was closed for nearly a week for repairs. I take on board your point that we should have made alternative arrangements to deal with the disruption but the problem is that... More
