Went on a quest to find some real ale in Dublin but unfortunately I must have timed it wrong. Though they had some excellent craft beer the real ale had run out. Went back the next day but there was still none despite two hand pulls featuring badges, still well worth a visit go ale fans.

we where recomended to go here by the staff of our hotel. Its a bit mind boggling how many beers they have on the menu but you can get a sampler of 3 small glasses of some of the lagers/ales and stouts. This is well worth doing and you can get a taste of each and then decide to go... More

Loved the seasonal chocolate truffle porter! One of the best we have sampled around the globe. Great little pub with friendly helpful and knowledgable staff

It was such a fun place to go to and see. We went at night to the Porterhouse, and there was a fantastic live band featuring the talent of one of the stars of "The Voice." It was such a fun place, and the drinks were a reasonable price.

I never write these reviews but I just experienced literally the rudest most offensive waiter ever to surface. We were almost an hour waiting for the wrong order to be delivered to the table and when we advised the waiter that he had gotten two orders wrong, he was rude and even went so far as insisting that the customer... we had drinks here last night, the choice of ales and whiskey is superb, there was live music which was a little too loud for me but most people seemed to enjoy it, bar staff could be little friendlier, no one was rude but they seem bit bored, i would however return due to their excellent Ale,

The PorterHouse has an impressive selection of beer from around the world and great staff, but the food is only fine and the atmosphere can get too crowded to be any fun. If you can get a table, its worth a visit, but if you can't, head to the Black Sheep just across the river for an equally impressive beer... More

We went and tried their sampler of brews and was pleasantly surprised. The beers they brew were flavorful and well accepted. They had a large selection of beers and drinks to satisfy nearly any taste.

Been with a group of friends and this Pub rocks. Super band on Friday nights, I think their name is The Usual Suspects - they just create the atmosphere you would expect for good music, fun and late night. The place is large, nice and friendly - good beers brewed there.
