If you prefer a pint of real ale to Guinness, then this is the place for you. The Porterhouse BC brew their own beer and it is excellent (and definitely on a par with the leading UK ales). They carry an astounding range of bottled beers and cater for all other types of beverage and cocktails. Although located at the... More

We went one afternoon and returned the same evening. Other half was suitably impressed with the array of beers on offer and he loved the 'beer sampler' with three baby pints to try! Food was good (only had light bites, so can't comment on the whole menu). Evening band were great fun, Irish with a modern twist, had to resist... More

Pizzas are delicious and their chicken wings are famous! Best drink on the menu has to be their long island ice tea. Perfect every time! Great atmosphere. Music could be louder.. a lot louder but I'm sure there's a reason for it. Staff are great. Gorgeous coffees too. This place is excellent for a relaxing wind-down after work any day... More

This was the place to be during the games, the locals were there cheering there teams and creating a fun lively atmosphere. The staff is knowledgeable regarding the craft beers they serve, they made recommendations for us and what they suggested was perfect for our taste.

I was blown away by the atmosphere and excellent craft beer selection. Especially all the beer brewed by the Porterhouse! Not very touristy either. Felt like a place where the locals go. Also they had live bands the couple times we went. Very fun and energetic! But again I have to mention, great craft beer selection. Love it!

The cubical itself was small although decorated with barley motifs - would not recommend for the larger hipped women. My stall had a discarded g-string but will assume this is not typical. Taps only produce cold water - hand dryer sufficient. B- just drink enough so the disappointing bathrooms are no longer an issue.

I love Guinness and was in heaven drinking it all over Ireland. However, by the time we reached Dublin and the end of our trip, it was refreshing to find a pub brewing its own beer. The Oyster Stout was every bit as good as Guinness (no disrespect!) and the food and atmosphere were also lovely. My husband and I... More

We stopped in for a relaxed drink and lunch following a recommendation, and we were glad we did. The Porterhouse red ale was great, and our chicken wings and rustic chips were really tasty. The staff were friendly, and the service was fast. Excellent wi-fi too. A good place to stop for a breather during a day of sightseeing/shopping.

Stopped by here initially just for a quick drink and ended up staying for lunch. Staff were incredibly helpful and welcoming. Food and drink were of very high quality. A great find and would go back.
