What a gem of a place. Several floors of great interior, great friendly atmosphere, lots of exclusive beers (try the Plain Porter if you're tired of Guinness!) and of course good live music to back up the party feeling. We didn't try the food but it looked ok despite the place being really, really busy. A major plus to the... More

Great selection of beers, reasonably priced, friendly and knowledgeable staff and enjoyable place. They also serve food but didn't have any.

Good beer, good food and excellent staff. The place itself is nice and the outside seating area is just beautiful. We really liked the Porterhouse!

Porterhouse really is good. Lovely beer, fantastically fresh; excellent food which is a cut above regular pub grub; service was fine given how busy they were (Friday night); and a genuine pub with locals outnumbering tourists and a grand atmosphere (not Olde Irishe). And the live band, on the night we went, were decent. My wife described it as, "The... More

Service was ok nothing great, otherwise would have gave them 5 stars, food is reasonably priced, I received a good size serving of food that didn't take too long to prepare, I ordered the roast of the day along with a local draft beer, the beer list there is amazing, instantly became a fan as I walked in, plenty of... Every Irish person I know advised me to avoid the Temple Bar area unless I wanted to pay over the odds to get sprayed with beer from English stag parties. So I did, with one exception - Porterhouse. We went during the day for a late lunch, mainly to taste their Oyster Stout. It was delicious! I had Irish Stew... More

Our experience of the Porterhouse Brewing Company was very disappointing and unlikely to try the establishment again, nor recommend it to anyone who is after a Guinness or a decent meal. We were appalled at the food that arrived, in particular the fish and chips (the chips were cold and the fish looked as it it had been frozen and... More

We actually went to their establishment in Sheares Street, Cork City. Beer from Dublin, food from Cork. What an experience! They do test trays, so as you sample every beer they brew. What was amazing, my husband went through half one night, and the next night, the staff remembered what he had had the night before!!!!!!! Food fantastic, reasonable, staff... More

Went on a Friday night to the Temple Bar pub for food and drinks. The beer menu is crazy! And great cocktails. There was a live band playing Irish music as well which were brilliant, had a great night. Very busy!!
