good pub with good beer

I am not a beer drinker but my boyfriend loved this bar. We went here a couple of times and enjoyed it over our weekend in Dublin. We ate here as well and the food was good.

The food we ordered came out burnt, with none of the toppings we ordered. My hamburger was scorched with a soggy bun, and they forgot my drink that I ordered until after I was already done with the meal. My husbands burger was also burned badly, although they did remember his drink. Would not recommend nor return.

The bar was extremely busy when we visited. The service was good and the beer excellent. However, the door staff could monitor the number of patrons better to give an idea of when or how soon food service is available. It's frustrating to be in a bar with so many customers and limited space. I'm sure on a quieter night... More

What a fabulous selection of real ale & stout. Recommend the taster tray, just the right size. Fishcakes and chicken skewers as with the rest of food was great value. Well worth a visit in Dublin.

Came across this place by just walking around Dublin. What a Gem we have found. Great decor and its surprisingly huge as its over three floors. it brews its own beers in sight which of course some were tried and loved after help from our server to find one that suited our tastes. If this is not for you they... More

Wide selection of craft beers from around the world, plus their own beers. Great food, live music, very friendly staff. If I lived in Dublin, it would be my local. And I would have no money because of it. The chicken wings are to die for - must try.

Was there last night and the music was awesome. It was a bit crowded so we took some time go get the waiters atention but when we did in 5min we had food and beer! The bartender was very nice and the fish and chips plate was very very good. Not too oily and with a nice salad and sauce.... More

Feel this place is for tourists only. As a local I wanted to leave the second I walked in. Beer wasnt great. Far nicer venues with craft beer. Food was greasy and seemed only 1 step above fast food.

What a brilliant place. We are so glad that we stumbled across this gem. There is a massive selection of beers to try and various other drinks to choose from. The decor is brilliant and it's got such a great vibe to the place. We spent most of our weekend trip here, so I definitely recommend if you are visiting... More
