Wandered into the Porterhouse in the evening after the Euro Cup qualifier June 13,2015, between Scotland and Ireland. The Pub was rocking, live bagpipes, drums and songs from both sides. Friendly staff and atmosphere. Unlimited selection of Beer, Porter, Stout from all around the World, Brew their own Stouts, Ales and Lagers. Try a Sample Beer Paddle for a taste... More

A lovely pub in a great atmosphere. We liked them very much, pudissa own brewery. Food reasonable, but pretty good pub food. Every evening a live band playing. Also worth a visit.

My wife and I ended up at this pub 3 times during our time in Dublin. The porterhouse is a modern pub compared to some of the older establishments but it has a great feel and a great selection of beers. After a while, I must say, I'd like to drink something other than Guinness and this place fits the... More

Awesome experience here! 3 of us tried the chicken wings and 3 others had the burgers. Everyone enjoyed their meals and then some! The beers were fantastic. Porterhouse's home brewed beers are a must and priced reasonably... Try the plain porter -cheers

While I must admit I didn't find a pub in Ireland I didn't like, the Porterhouse was my favorite and they don't even serve Guinness or Heineken or any other mass produced beer. They do offer over 100 craft beers from all over the world, however, in a great atmosphere with excellent service.

Was told to visit this place from a tour guide as I enjoy craft beers. The beer wasn't bad but nothing to right home about. Food was better than average and the service was ok.

Visited on a Friday afternoon about 1:30pm. Service and food was good, plenty of room, as might be expected. Flight of 3 beers for EUR 5 and the Oyster Stout (despite other reviews) is better than most "leading" offers. Plenty of atmosphere given the decor. Worth a visit.

Someone at my work recommended this establishment for the beer and told me to try the Oyster Stout, which was ok, not great. I tried several other beers, but none really stood out as great. I had a different place picked out to eat, but the friends we were with couldn't make it any longer without eating so we ate... More

This review could have gone very badly for the Porterhouse, but the wonderful manager that was present on April 30 really redeemed this establishment for us. We started out with a potato soup and chicken skewers - both were surprisingly good. I ordered a chicken sandwich as my entree, and my husband ordered a burger. When our entrees arrived, I... More
