Peadar Kearney’s on Dame street is a traditional pub with strong historic roots. The pub is named after a musician who composed Abhrán na BhFiann (The Irish national anthem). We continue this tradition with nightly traditional, toe tapping music. One of the regular musicians, Brian Brody, is a must see for any tourist visiting the city. He’s a one man atmosphere machine. There’s a basement bar downstairs when upstairs overflows, which also caters to most sporting events. If you’re looking for somewhere with temple bar music and atmosphere without the prices, take a look at Peadar’s.

Friendly, fun and locals. Stop in and say hi to John Mack! The music is great. It's just a fun little pit stop on you're way to more "tourists" locations.

You'll be able to see from my many TA reviews that I've never left a 1 star rating before for any pub, restaurant or hotel. Unfortunately there's a first time for everything. I was with three friends on a weekend trip to Dublin (from London) and we entered Peadar Kearney's pub for a drink at around 4:45pm on a busy... More

I came here on a bar crawl. Very good, authentic Irish pub. I talked to a local and regular for a while. The owner was very nice and funny, plus there was live music.

We stopped at Peader Kearney's for a drink as we were walking down the street. Was a good little pub with some good music playing and setting a good atmosphere. The drink pricing was great and the man behind the bar was very friendly.

we had the best time at Peadar's! the music was great and the staff was very friendly. highly recommend going. I wouldn't bring kids later because there is a bar crawl that comes through and there are usually a lot in that crowd.

Arrived here late on Friday night and while it was rocking I suppose, it was rocking in a dirty, drunk rough kinda way. Bar staff were grumpy too. Won't be returning.

While walking back to my hotel room this evening, I couldn't help but stop by Peadar Kearney's pub! There were all sorts of people coming in and out, chatter and great music-not to mention the great selection of Irish beer! The staff here is also extremely friendly and they will do everything they can to make sure you're taken care... More
