Interesting tour with very well informed guide. Takes you around all main landmarks in central Dublin. Really enjoyed it! Highly recommendable.

Did you know that there is a bomb shelter underneath Merrion Sq? Or that Hans Sloane basically invented the chocolate that we know today? No... well you should definitely join one of the tours that ingenious walking tours organise. I went along to the "The Irish ideas & inventions that changed the world" as part of The Festival of Curiosity.... More

A highly entertaining historical tour - with a difference. It's the story of Dublin told through the stones that built it. There's a saying "if the walls could speak ... " etc, well this tour nearly made the stones sing. Clever, witty, informative, ingenious. I have done several walking tours of Dublin and this was streets (yes) ahead of any... More

Went on the Blood and Guts walking tour of Dublin with my boyfriend. We both really enjoyed it, learned lots of new things about our city and had a great time!

We had a specialized tour, on behalf of the Eurocon (European Science Fiction Convention): in addition to the regular geekiness, we had a side-dish of Gothic horror :) The guide was knowledgeable, funny, and a great story-teller. He took us to rather surprising sights just behind the corner from the larger stories you get in the regular guided tours. We... More

This tour was informative and fun. We started at the oldest part of Dublin and walked through the city and through history, all with a geology twist. Our guide was professional and really knew his stuff. Loved it and will book another one of their tours.

Signed up for the Dublin tour about Ireland contributions to science and was positively surprized by how professional and knowledgeable the guide was (an actual Irish scientist with the traditional talent for story telling). Will probably go for another of their tour.

I have been meaning to sign up for ages, and jumped at the chance to go on the "Ingenious Dublin! Networking walk with a geeky twist, and (optional) lunch" in March early this year. The day was soft (Irish misty rain) but it was an enjoyable day, everyone learnt a lot. I won't spoil anything here, just enjoy the tour.... More

I've now done two Ingenious Ireland's walking tours around Dublin City Center and both were perfectly paced, full of interesting information about my favourite city and Ireland's scientific heritage. Mary and Patrick are thoroughly entertaining, superb guides with a gift for bringing their stories to life. The tours are an absolute delight and I cannot recommend them highly enough, whether... I booked The INGENIOUS DUBLIN! walking tour as a networking event for 7 different women in technology national and Dublin based networks. It was excellent for several reasons: as a Dubliner raised by cultural curious parents I found out things about the city I never knew. Fascinating stories told in a wonderfully accessible and engaged way, Mary Mulvihill is a... More
