I spent a deliciously geeky couple of hours in the company of Patrick Roycroft, and a few of my colleagues this afternoon, in glorious sunshine in a chaotic Dublin city centre. Not only did I learn lots about the city which I have called home for the last 15 years, but I was entertained along the way. Thanks again, Patrick.

Thanks Mary for a great start to our hen party day! Everyone agreed it was a lovely way to spend the morning, helped of course by the sun making an appearance. Nicely paced, interesting tour, the Irish really are great! Would absolutely go on this tour again and highly recommend it to locals and visitors alike.

We took our second tour with Ingenious today. We live and work in Dublin but walk past so much of the city without paying enough attention. The tour offers some genuine insights into science and history, delivered by guides who're clearly passionate about their subject. It's not some pre-recorded audio tour or an uninterested bus driver calling out facts by... More

Myself and two good friends Anne and Trish took the Ingenious Dublin Walk / Talk at the end of January 2014. It was a Christmas gift from me to us and what a real treat it turned out to be. The walk was very entertaining and at times mind blowing. The day was stormy with a wild wind and some... More

I did the Obstreperous Women walking tour on Saturday morning and found it fascinating. Tour guide was really enthusiastic, I really enjoyed how she welcomed contributions from the audience which gave a really well-rounded tour. Very relaxed, very informative. Highly recommended.

Thank you, and I’m so glad you enjoyed this new tour. We were delighted to have special guests along on the day, and their stories and the contributions from everyone meant that I, as the guide, learned lots too. Thanks again for coming, and taking the time to review the tour. Mary Mulvihill, Ingenious Ireland More

This was an excellent first outing of a new tour - really enjoyable and informative. It will appeal to anyone interested in women's history, Irish history, quirky facts about Dublin, and generally good story-telling. The tour lasted nearly an hour longer than the advertised 1.5 hours and the guide's good humour and capacity to engage her audience never flagged. It... More

Thank you, and I’m so glad you enjoyed our first Obstreperous Lassies tour. We were really privileged to have some special guests along on the day, and lots of stories and contributions from everyone, though it did mean the tour was longer than planned. Future outings will be shorter – but hopefully just as engaging and interesting. Thanks again for... More

We used the ingenious Ireland app for the Hill of Tara and it transformed our visit there. We were sceptical about using a download guide, but now we can see the benefits for places like this. The app had a map, photographs, the commentary, and was way cheaper than hiring a guide, and had lots more information. Without the app,... More

A tour for people looking to find out about irish and world history. Full of science facts and funny stories. Great for tourists and locals alike.definitely gives you an insight typical tours don't. The two guides I've met were very friendly.

We went on our tour which we bought through Groupon on the cheap but it would defo be worth the money at full price... we will be recommending it to others! We just loved our tour guide... I can't for the life of me remember his name but he was a geologist who was full of humour and an excellent... More

I'm so glad you enjoyed the tour. Your guide that day was Patrick Roycroft, who is indeed a geologist (and an expert in Wicklow granites!). I know he'll be pleased to hear you enjoyed the tour too. Many thanks for taking the time to tell people about us. And we hope to see you on another tour next time you're... More
