I'm not the most religious person and I'm not some sort of raving atheist either but I thought the Pro Cathedral was lovley and peaceful when I visited Dublin recently. More

The flag ship Church of the Dublin Dioceses located in Marlborough St Dublin off O'Connell St. No parking, public transport or walk. More

Since the two main cathedrals of Dublin (St. Patrick's and Christ Church) are Protestant, the Pro-Cathedral is the Provisional or acting cathedral of the Roman Catholic church. It was built between 1815 and 1825 on the site of 12th century abbey and was built in the neo-classic doric style which is very different from the Gothic styles of the other... More

It's not suprising that Dublin would have a bunch of really impressive cathedrals, and here is another. A short walk from O'Conell St., do go take a look. More
