Went here on Culture Night and really enjoyed walking around. Felt like you stepped back in time. The narrated tour was very good but not sure if this is on all the time or just Culture Night

Sited in the heart of the walled medieval city, St Audoen's Church is the only remaining medieval parish church in Dublin. It is dedicated to St Ouen the 7th century bishop of Rouen and patron saint of Normandy. The Guild Chapel of St Anne houses an award-winning exhibition on the importance of St Audoen's Church in the life of the...

I know "castles and cathedrals". BUT - St. Audeon's has had a continuous congregation since it was first built. This was enough for me. The Visitor Center is just enough and the staff was lovely, informative, and helpful. The church as it remains is still lovely and the portion that is still used for services is beautiful. The baptismal font...

This is a beautiful church detailing the old and new ways combining into some interesting history. We were there during the day and it provides a great photo opportunity.

St Audeon's was smaller than some of the nearby churches and cathedrals, but lost nothing for it. Lovely gardens at the front greeted the visitor, as did the lovely staff at reception. Entry was free, and I enjoyed looking through s mall display area and then into the church itself. A great place to photograph, the church had a genuine...

I wish I'd realized there was a free tour. Even just wandering around...

We got an excellent private tour from Rebecca who was very knowledable and good fun too. The building is very impressive and is also tells the story...

My husband and I almost missed the real St. Audeon's because there happens to be a Catholic Polish Church called Saint Audeon's right next door. Make sure you go past the bigger newer church to find the proper church.
We arrived early in the morning and essentially had a private tour with a guide. We were amazed by the changes...

This is a beautiful church that tells through its artifacts of the history of Ireland and religious strife.
There were several guides there when we arrived, and they sprang into action giving impromptu tours to us and to other visitors who arrived after us. The guides were so enthusiastic and sincere. They brought to life the struggles between Catholics and...
