We loved the shop. They help you buy tax free and drop the form at airport. Rest of the effort of buying and filling everything up at the airport is not worth the effort. The folks are very helpful. We did our thanksgiving shopping at this shop in city and are happy with the items they sold.

Near Grafton Street and right across from Trinity College, the House of Ireland is a department store dedicated to a full array of items made in Ireland. The clothing is particularly interesting with its traditional Irish flair apparent in everything from suits to sweaters to coats and hats. Knowledgeable and attentive staff with a penchant for helping to choose the... More

This was actually the first store we visited so we were mostly "just looking." It is attractively arranged with quite a variety of items in many small rooms and alcoves. Some areas were crowded and hard to move around. We saw many interesting things but were not yet ready to purchase. We had a coupon on the map our hotel... More

This was the only shop in Dublin where we found a reasonably priced wax cloth jacket. They also took care of the VAT for us (which reduced the price we paid)! Staff were knowledgeable and very helpful.

After stopping at all the little shops in Ireland, this was one of the best places to buy high quality Ireland made gifts - throws, napkins, and Swarovski crystal.

I came into the store to buy a specific brand cape. I was readily directed to the correct area of the store. They had exactly what I wanted in stock. And I was so tickled when they offered to deal with the VAT tax for me and I walked out with what amounted to a 20% discount because of this!

Haven't been to the physical store but I ordered a product from them online. I ordered a set of crystal flutes online and was to receive a confirmation email. I never received one. Weeks later I checked my account online only to see the status as "pending". I felt like something wasn't right so I emailed the store and asked... More

Watch out for Scottish products. I almost made the mistake of bringing home some beautiful green plaid scarves for gifts "straight from Ireland" until I noticed the labels from Scotland. The sales staff fill out your sales tax refund paperwork for you, hand you an envelope with a copy inside, and you need only drop it at the counter in... More
