This was, without question, the most exciting activity on our itinerary! My family had the best time and truly enjoyed the introduction to Irish football, handball and hurling. We learned a lot about the history and the culture of hurling from Georgina, the owner of Experience Gaelic Games, who was on-site and involved in every aspect of our experience. She... More

This was a fantastic experience, and we enjoyed every minute of it. We were a small mixed group of children, adults and seniors. and we learned how to play Gaelic football, hurling, and wall ball. In addition to actually playing, we also watched films and listened to informative talks about the history of Gaelic Games, dance and language. All equipment... More

My husband and I recently took our son and daughter and their girlfriend/boyfriend to Ireland. As recent college graduates and division I athletes, we thought this would be appealing to them. We were introduced to Brian over coffee and videos...he was fun, knowledgeable and patient! First, we tried handball, followed by hurling and gaelic football. We watched videos, followed by... More

We had an absolutely fabulous time with the guys from Gaelic Games, they were knowledgable and patient and obviously had a real passion for their sport. This time I went with my twin 14 year old daughters and my husband but I fully intend to make sure I pay them a visit with my hockey team one day. Definitely one... More

As the maid of honor it was my job to organise a hens do for the bride. Turns out the bride wants to go to Dublin.I am living in Australia and had to organise a fun and cheap weekend for 14 German girls. Tripadvisor did not lie when it recommended the Gaelic Games as first choice of things to do... More

Hurling was part of the half time show at the football game, and we enjoyed that. After the game, we went to bar nearby and watched the Gaelic football, which was awesome.

Our family had such a great time learning the traditional Irish games. Because we signed up as a family, we were assigned our own instructor. He was patient, helpful and funny and taught us the basics without overwhelming us. Then during the game, we were mixed in with the Trip Advisor Irish office players. Had a great time with them... Thank you!!! This experience was the highlight of our trip!! I loved that we learned so much about Irish Culture and about Gaelic Games. I am NOT an athlete--and I was traveling with my 9 year old son and my mother, and we all enjoyed the experience. You do not have to be an athlete to have fun here! The... More
