We booked our Gaelic Games experience before arriving in Dublin. The moring of our event, the weather was HORRIBLE but we were assured that they also have indoor facilities in case of inclement weather (the idea of traveling back to the US after being soaked and cold was not appealing). Luckily, the sun came out and we were able to... More

My family, my brother-in-law's family, and our cousin (9 of us in all) participated in Experience Gaelic Games the first day of our Ireland vacation. What a blast! Georgina and her crew were top notch. Little bit of history, instruction, and lots of fun....and excercise. We really got an appreciation for the sports of Irish Football, Handball, and Hurling -... My partner and two children aged 10 and 7 reallyenjoyed a morning of gaelic football, handball and hurling. We are from Australia and New Zealand so we were a little familiar with gaelic football which is similar to AFL. Geraldine gave us an interesting insight into the tribal nature of these traditional sports; and the young lad showed us some... More

It was the fastest 4 hours we've ever spent. My 11-year old son and I wanted to experience some of the truly Irish (Gaelic) sports and we were not disappointed. It was so interesting and refreshing to learn about some new sports so different from the mundane North America sports of hockey, baseball, football and basketball. The staff at the... More

Our family, 2 adults and 2 kids, thoroughly enjoyed learning hurling, handball and Irish football from a friendly and engaged staff. It was very well organized and a bit of competitive fun without being too much so. We are not a super athletic family but all of us had a great time. Highly recommend as a family event, particularly for... More

Visiting Dublin with my boys 7 and 9 and looking for culturally interactive events so we tried Experience Gaelic Games (EGG) since we knew nothing about Gaelic football or Hurling. What a wonderful afternoon - Cormac was a terrific "coach" and his obvious joy in sharing Gaelic culture (and teaching us a few words) made the day even more special.... More

Cormac was an outstanding coach. My wife and I had a great time learning hurling and Gaelic football. We were able to pick it up quickly and we want to figure out how to continue playing when we get back to the states. So much fun!

If you are looking for something physically involved, to meet new people, to learn a thing or two about Gaelic Games, and to definitely have FUN, then you'll want to sign up for this event!!!!!! Ok...I must admit. Before I signed up to experience the Gaelic Games I thought it was going to be similar to Larping (for all my... More

Just had a great morning with the friendliest people experiencing Gaelic Football and Hurling. If you have sporty kids this is just great fun. Dara the instructor was brilliant with our kids and we all came away having learned something of Irish culture whilst having a lot of fun. A must do I'd say.
