Our annual visit to O'Donoghue's was on Friday 06 February 2015. A great atmosphere in the courtyard out back. Excellent Guinness. And good, friendly service. Roll on 2016!

Great couple of nights there. Superb pint of Guinness. Live music was mesmerising. We're "accosted" by two locals the first night. Paddy and Pete . Really made out night. Wouldn't hesitate to go back.

Lisa, John and Terry make you feel welcome. Andy is a fantastic singer. You go in not knowing anyone and soon make friends

Here with buddies after Shelbourne and would have to say I love the ambience a lot more. Place is small enough to be cozy and big enough to fit a right-sized crowd. Always know what we're in for when we step into this place.

Great bar. Good Guinness, outside area with heaters, sport on the tv, good atmosphere and friendly staff. What's not to like?

Apparently a favourite of the Dubliners before they became famous, this is a local pub with a warm, wooden interior. Live music sessions are also frequent. Supposedly one of the five bars that serve the best pint of Guinness in Dublin. Guinness pint creaminess: 5/5 Recommended.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The hotel was really clean and ideal for what we wanted really. The pub was packed and had a great atmosphere (as was promised by the barstaff). The staff was friendly and very honest.

Called in mid afternoon last week with some friends for a Christmas drink. Place was as always busy and atmosphere was great. Guinness was superb and it was obvious that many of the clientele were drinking it. They were participating in the GuinnessPlus offer of a free pint which we gladly accepted. One of those places you don't like leaving!
