Great bar. Good Guinness, outside area with heaters, sport on the tv, good atmosphere and friendly staff. What's not to like?

Apparently a favourite of the Dubliners before they became famous, this is a local pub with a warm, wooden interior. Live music sessions are also frequent. Supposedly one of the five bars that serve the best pint of Guinness in Dublin. Guinness pint creaminess: 5/5 Recommended.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The hotel was really clean and ideal for what we wanted really. The pub was packed and had a great atmosphere (as was promised by the barstaff). The staff was friendly and very honest.

Called in mid afternoon last week with some friends for a Christmas drink. Place was as always busy and atmosphere was great. Guinness was superb and it was obvious that many of the clientele were drinking it. They were participating in the GuinnessPlus offer of a free pint which we gladly accepted. One of those places you don't like leaving!

I didn't stay at the Hotel, but i Enyoyed a few pints of Guinness and listen to some great Trad Irish music there, and it was great fun, the staff was very nice, and the Guinness very good. The bar look's really old and had a lot of pictures of the Dubliners and my Hero Luke Kelly. Everyone that likes... More

Typical amazing Dublin pub as they used to be before they got to trendy. Don't expect designer decor just great Guiness, live music ,interesting people & a typical Irish welcome. Definitely a must to visit for locals & tourists.

Home of Irish music and original jigs. If you are tired of touristic Irish culture experiences in the Temple Bar, this is the place where you can experience the real Irish music and drink with locals.
