This is a lovely park in a lovely area of Dublin city. Take a nice leisurely stroll around the grounds, feed the ducks, sit on the grass, and then go for a drink in one of the lovely pubs off Grafton Street.

Ideal for a picnic lunch on a mild sunny day............a grand place to escape the bustle of crowds in Grafton Street, and the traffic around the square....feed the ducks....sit & people watch......handy next to LUAS tram for all stops to Dndrum & Sandyford....

I'm not much of a tourist, I tend to avoid the obvious sights to see, though in the end I do often get to see them. But in Dublin, maybe because I live in Ireland, I am usually there for meetings or events and I have yet to get inside Dublin Castle or the other famous places. But whenever I... More

One of my favourite places in the city, an oasis for adults and children alike. Wander round the sculptures or bring a sandwich and have a restful lunch away from the busyness of Grafton st. National Museum, National Library with Yeats exhibition are only a short stroll away!

Stephens Green is a beautiful little park especially when the sun is shining, great place to bring the kids to feed the duck or to avail of the great little playground. A great place to bring a sandwich to as there are lots of seats to rest your weary feet especially after strolling around the great shopping area of Grafton... More

This is just such a lovely spot for kids on a family day out. The ducks are great and the playground is fantastic. It's also a super spot to just sit and watch the world go by.

the advantage to this park is that it is located in central Dublin, and has several monuments to famous writers and events in the city. But as far as parks go, it is pretty standard for a European park. Nice to walk through but if you miss it, not the end of the world. I have seen the other comments... More

The Green is a joy when the sun shines and is great to ramble through at lunch time or sit and people watch. The statuary within and on the edges is very interesting but you will need a good guide or guidebook to figure it all out. Buy a sandwich from one of the many shops around the green and... More
