Went to St Stephens Green as we went to book up a bus ride and the sun was shinning (which I am told is rare in Dublin) so we walked around the green by the ponds it was a lovely peaceful area

St. Stephen's green is great to just have a relaxing walk about or a nice sit down on the bench or on the grass.

This park provides a really good get away from the busy city. It is located near Grafton street, one of the shopping streets in Dublin, as well as the Stephen's green shopping centre. I would recommend going there on a sunny day.

If I ever decide to get married in Ireland, it will be at this park. An absolutely gorgeous gem of a park tucked into the hustle and bustle of Dublin, Saint Stephen's Green covers a very large area and has gardens and ponds complete with serene swans. Walking through the park is beautiful. The path has a multitude of benches... More

Walking here, both on a Sunday afternoon when we arrived and again on our last afternoon in Ireland, was one of the best introductions we could have had to Irish life and the people and the best farewell to a country and city we have learned to love on this trip. This is Dublin's "Central Park," and there are families,... More

Monday afternnon, 11th August, and a sunny day in Dublin. Having just walked up Grafton Strret, it was a welcome rest from the throng of shoppers to sit in this beautiful spot and enjoy the sunshine. What a beautiful park with all its colourful flowers and statue of a reclining James Joyce, felt like lying down myself after wandering around... More

Felt safe walking through park no matter what time of day or early evening although homeless people are visible. There are some beautiful flowers and the park is immaculate. Also lovely playground for kids.

On a nice sunny day you will find all the locals enjoying the sun on the grass, sitting and lying down! Very pleasant atmosphere and small enough that you can enjoy the whole park in an hour or two walking through it.
